Positive: I loved the layout of the hotel, it was very unique and quaint. I booked an apartment. The kitchen was just OK, a bit tired and would benefit from revamp. Had to hire the cups, plates, pans etc. for the kitchen which I felt was unnecessary. Why have a kitchen if you aren't provided with utensils. Had breakfast and dinner and food was very good. The location is hard to reach, a bus comes every hour but can be difficult to get the times right, we found ourselves waiting at bus stops for long periods. We landed by train from Alicante and the station was a good distance from the hotel. No transfer, rang hotel and no taxi could be booked and we just had to sit and wait about 40 minutes hoping a bus would come which it eventually did. Had to book taxi from hotel back to airport at 50 euro.
Negative: No free utensils for kitchen. kitchen needed update. no transport could be provided on arrival from train station.
Summary: Loved hotel style but remote and transport unreliable. Apartments a bit tired looking.

Positive: The complex has been created to feel older than it is and is very well done. Our apartment was very large and comfortable with a balcony. We only stayed one night so didn't use the pool as it was a bit cool and the pool wasn't heated. The buffet breakfast which was served in one of the onsite restaurants was very nice with a large selection.
Negative: Despite having a kitchen there was NO kitchen equipment. The only thing provided were 2 water glasses. This was unexpected and when I asked at reception they said that kitchen equipment could be hired for €20. As we were only staying overnight it wasn't worth it for us but people should be aware of it and it isn't mentioned on the ad. There also was no plug for the bath, but someone brought one when I asked about it. The apartment block was noisy and we were kept awake by other guests until the early hours. The location is not in a town so it would be handy to have a car. However there are a couple of bars a short walk away where we had dinner.
Summary: Very nice apartment but don't expect to cook there!
