Summary: Our family of four found Randy's Chamainus house very comfortable and welcoming. Randy was very easy to work with and provided many of the basics for a vacation rental. The house was ideally located for our wants and needs with easy access to Chemainus, a charming town with a history of murals painted on the walls of businesses and very friendly people. The beauty of the Straight of Georgia in the back yard, with nearly daily sightings of seals and/or otters (can be hard to tell which) was fun for us all. I could say more but, simply - This was, for us, a truly easy vacation!

Summary: This home is in a quiet residential area on an accessible stretch of the Chemainus waterfront. Great spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming or just quiet relaxation. The house is comfortable, if perhaps a work in progress in spots, with new beds, VERY well equipped kitchen including spices and staples, and fabulous master bathroom. The only downside was a very stained living rm carpet but the owners tell us this is next on their improvement list. All the other floors were beautiful new hardwood. We hope to visit again! Summary: Between the ocean views, the beach walks, the lovely property and just being on the island itself, youd do great to stay here. A short 5 minute drive takes you to Chemainus which has the most spectacular selection of local shops. The house itself was spacious with many places to sleep and lots of space for activities. Gorgeous bathroom upstairs left us speechless upon arriving. All in all, I'd recommend anyone I knew coming to the area to consider staying at this VRBO.

Summary: The house was in a perfect location, ocean out the back door. We saw otters, fish jumping and had a doe & fawn grazing the back yard. The house is generous in size for large families, upstairs is newly renovated with a fantastic master sweet & huge renovated bathroom to accompany. The location of the house was easy to find and close to #1 Island Highway. We would defiantly stay again. Thanks for the hospitality Randy!

Summary: What a view! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and Chemainus is a quaint, sweet town. Randy was very helpful and accommodating. The crabbing nearby was excellent with lots of opportunities to enjoy the Ocean if you choose too. The place itself needs some TLC but still comfortably fit 7 adults and one child.

Summary: We really loved the house. It was wonderful to have our own private beach, and have access to the ocean whenever we felt like it. The owners were very accommodating, and we really enjoyed our stay. The property is close to two different towns, with easy access to stores and the like. The ocean was very warm, and we went swimming more than once! Overall, very pleasant experience
