Welcome to our ocean front island home. Bring a boat & relax with 180 degree ocean views from our two decks. Directly on the ocean with a private dock. We provide 3 kayaks to explore, 2 bikes to cruise or grab some groceries, a fully equiped kitchen and a covered BBQ entertainment area to cook your daily catch. We have designed the house to comfortably sleep 8 people. You can travel here by high speed foot ferry, car barge, or boat.
This is our personal family holiday home and we ask that you respect our house as we use it with our children and holiday here often to relax and kayak. We have taken a lot of time and effort to create a tranquil retreat and hope you appreciate the results. Once you arrive you will be greeted by a calm, friendly, welcoming community. There is an IGA, post office, bottle shop and hardware store walking distance from the foot ferry. Our home is designed with a fully equiped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, and a selection of eating areas. The best part is that you have an ocean view from all the decks, seating areas, bathroom and master bedroom. The front of the house has beautifully maintained gardens, shady trees and you will see and hear gentle wildlife that is not seen in the city. 100 meters from the the house you will find a park to fish from the bank or bike or walk the trails.
The Russell Island RSL has a great menu for lunch and dinner. They offer a free bus to and from your location. Call (07) 3409 1372 for Bistro and bus bookings.
Please note that this is a family neighbourhood and is NOT a party house. The attraction to this family home is the attention to detail for families who want to relax and require items for children. The quiet neighbourhood is patrolled by the RI police to enforce noise restrictions after 10pm vehicle and speed limits.

Summary: I gave a four star rating out of five because I found the lounges to be too soft to sit on but other than that it was a great holiday home and was very thankful it had aircon. Midges and mosquitoes could not bring it down

Summary: We had 3 very relaxing nights here. The photos online definitely didn’t do it justice, it’s was even better in real life. The views and the set out were exceptional. Hearing the water lapping at night just topped off how whole experience.
