Positive: Spectacular location and view, and the facilities were clearly the best in the neighborhood. Enjoy the mini Japanese garden, then walk down the little path to the beach. Thoughtfully designed rooms and common areas!

Negative: Price was a bit steep, but it was the best hotel of our multi-state vacation. We plan on coming back and making it the multi-day base for a less travel-heavy vacation.

Positive: The property and staff are both top notch. Tasteful architecture and furnishings, nice morning breakfast and many areas inside and outside to relax and take in the beautiful views. Easy walk down to the beach.

Negative: Beds lacked firmness which aggravated back problems.

Positive: Breakfast was ok (a tasty breakfast sandwich. Lovely location with stunning views through the tall trees over the beach and the Pacific

Negative: Room was just acceptable. No table to place my laptop, no tv, no microwave or coffee setup. Lots of stairs (no elevator), no one to assist with baggage.

Summary: Lovely place but somewhat disappointing considering the price
