Welcome to Secret Cove, a private, gated, oceanfront community, where you will find this stunning little cottage just 30 minutes from Halifax ! The grounds include a tennis court, a heated swimming pool, a small beach, and a dock. Enjoy being 5 minutes from the Chester Golf course, SENSEA Nordic Spa, and Chester Village - where you'll find a selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops sure to please any discerning traveler . Entrance to the incredible Rails to Trails hiking/biking trail, which extends from Halifax to Lunenburg is located across the street from the property. Our cottage was beautifully renovated in 2020, thoughtfully prepared for both short and long stays. You'll love the ocean views, and countless windows capturing the ocean breeze. Cook a feast in the fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops! This cottage features one king room, one queen room and one bathroom.

This cottage is located in a private, gated oceanfront community. There are other cottages visible from this cottage, however, the cottage is situated in a manner that provides privacy both inside, and to enjoy the water frontage.

Summary: Kellie, thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage. It was very clean, modern and loved the East Coast decor. Beds were large and comfy. Enjoyed the covered front deck and propane fire table with views of the ocean. The cottage was well appointed and the coffee and tea were appreciated. The beach area is very small. Close proximity to the Chester Nordic spa - we had a lovely day at the spa.

Summary: The cottage was spotless and the check-in process was very easy. The cottage is small, but didn't feel that way because they made such great use of all the space. There was a water problem because of recent weather-related events so our stay was cut short but Kellie communicated with us immediately and made alternative arrangements for us.
