Kick back and relax while gazing at the ocean, situated on Broadway, just cross the road to the sandy surf beach for some sun surf and sand, or a 4 minute drive at the end of the peninsula is Bowentown Harbour, a lovely sandy beach curves around the edge of the bay, This is a perfect spot for young children and those who want to swim in calm waters.
Also go on a 20 min drive to the popular Hauraki Rail trail, Karangahake Gorge walks and cycle trail. Golf courses are located in Waihi and Katikati.
a 5 min walk takes you to the dairy and Fish n chip shop, and the award winning Surf Shack Cafe is located just next to the airport. (5 Minute walk)
The House now has Mains water pressure so no problems with the shower
This beach house has 2 decks to catch all the sun, or shade, a conservatory, open plan living, with ample parking and room for the kids to play.
The downstairs area has 3 single beds, plus a Double while the 2 double bedrooms are on the top floor.

Summary: A great traditional kiwi bach in a perfect location relative to the beach and surf lifeguards. House was very clean on arrival. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding provided. Nice quiet street

Summary: The most amazing view of the beach from the deck also enjoyed hearing the waves at night in bed. Has everything you need for your stay,only issue for me was I needed a fan as it was extremely hot& I don't like sleeping with doors or windows open. Thankyou for letting us stay & enjoying the bach for the week.

Summary: We had a wonderful 7 nights at Dorothys in Waihi Beach with our adult children and grandson. The bach is conveniently located yet far enough away from shops etc to be peaceful. We enjoyed early morning and evening walks on the beautiful beach with very few others around, while still being able to walk to the fab surf shack for an amazing breakfast and dinner. So many great things to do so close in waihi, whiritoa etc. Would highly recommend for a classic slice of kiwi heaven holiday. regards Tracey and Bill
