Summary: The cabin provides a quiet getaway. The rustic charm makes for an enjoyable stay. We had firewood readily available for heating the cabin or the fire pit. The grill was ready to go, the frig was stocked with cold waters. There was fresh ground coffee ready to brew. The linens are fresh and the cabin was clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed our evenings, the beautiful Oklahoma sunsets and majestic stary skies. You could hear nature, owls, coyotes, frogs and even an occasional train rolling in the distance. Robert and Jane are great hosts this was our 5th or 6th stay with them.

Summary: This was our second time to stay at this property. It is off the grid, but they have equipped you with everything you need. Fire wood was stacked, charcoal ready to go, cold bottled water in the refrigerator. Fresh coffee beans for the morning brew. The cabin is Cozy & Clean and houses all the basic necessities, Thanks for hosting us again.

Summary: We brought my boys this time and rented both cabins! The boys even hung out with the owners son who is their age! The property is amazing and the owners are so warm and welcoming! It seems like we have known them forever! The main house is absolutely stunning and to hear the way Rob built it so economically with supplies from the surrounding nature is flabbergasting! The pool and hot tub are amazing, and the pergola with the fireplace is very cozy! He keeps wood cut for it and to warm one of the cabins! He will take you on a tour of the entire property on his ATV and my boys had a blast riding it during our stay! We fished and caught some bass both times we have visited. We built a big fire and made s’mores and he has two grills and we mad hamburgers! The first time we only stayed 3 day, this time 4 days, and IT’S STILL NOT LONG ENOUGH. If it wasn’t 8 hours away from us we would go ALL THE TIME! We will DEFINITELY be back during football season!!!

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. I wanted a quiet and peaceful escape and I got exactly what I was looking for! With no television around, I was free to read, take walks, and enjoy the silence. The cabin is located close enough to the main house to feel safe, but has enough trees to make it feel secluded. The owners were thoughtful and helpful when I needed anything.

Summary: We had a nice stay at the cabin in the woods. It was quiet as advertised. It is part of a permaculture project where the water feeds the cabin and a fruit orchard from a solar well. We walked the nature trails along the creek and around the ponds. We caught fish in the ponds and bbq’d them at the cabin. One of the days was cloudy and we ran the generator, but it was really quiet. We enjoyed our stay, read books and relaxed. The cabin was clean. We used the pool and the hot tub at the main house. Rob and Jane are very nice. They took care of us. We are going to book the cabin in the winter also.
