Positive: This is a great location in Yanagawa to take advantage of the canal boat trips and the small shopping area nearby. The location itself is a historical site that is worth a visit as well.

Negative: I would have liked to have a place in the room for my folded clothes. There was a rack for hanging clothes but no drawer space for folded clothes, underwear, socks, etc. This was uncomfortable since I was there for 3 days and had to just leave my folded clothes in my suitcase.

Positive: We stayed in a recently renovated room which was outstandingly beautiful. Nice comfy bed, lovely bad tub which perfectly acts as a private onsen and big Tatami space. It's just a very beautiful place. Lobby, Garden, Rooms are all very japanese. Very beautiful. The self-serve bar counter is a big plus too!

Negative: I would appreciate a la cart dinning available on request (for bookings that do not include dinner), since the area dosen't have many restaurants.

Positive: The place is beautiful and the staff was so nice and welcoming. I can’t remember having met so dedicated staff. They guided me through my Japanese breakfast as I wasn’t used to the food. The manager came to great me and inquire about my well-being. So truly friendly. I will keep you in my memories
