This bach has an awesome 'feel' to it, while in keeping with the traditional bach of yesteryear. Board games and outdoor games rather than WIFI.
Large deck with outside bar from the kitchen window for entertaining.
Endless beach, for morning sunrise walks or late evening sunsets.
Can swim or surf all day long. Another surf beach is located at West End Ohope.
This property does NOT have enclosed fencing. No WIFI
Launch your contiki from the beach
Shop on the corner offers SUP (stand up paddleboard hire) also great fish n chips. Coffee or beer while you wait.
The wharf is a big attraction for kids - swimming or fishing
Or launch your boat from either Ohope or Whakatane. Bring a road cycle there is plenty of places to ride to, or mountain biking tracks on Burma Road.
A quick drive over the Ohope hill to Whakatane where there is shopping, cafes, movie theatre, pubs, bars, churches, walking trails, fast food outlets and so much more.

Summary: The bach was great. Very well equipped and great location for visiting family who live locally. Shame about the weather but i guess we'll give the owners a pass on that and lay the blame on the remnants of CycloneTam. The day we left was glorious!! Oh well...

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay and would recommend it to others. It was a bonus to be so close to both beach and harbour without getting into a car. The kitchen and laundry was very well equipped and the ultra fresh, crisp linen and towels were much appreciated. The bathroom was modern and very clean with a lovely shower. Thank you for sharing your bach with us!

Summary: Excellent facilities as described, fantastic location across the road from the beach, Not too far from the local cafes and also the famous Ohope golf course. We will definitely be back next year!

Summary: This bach was great. We loved the location opposite the beach, the big deck for eating outside and the lawn area. The bach was very clean and very well appointed. The photos didn’t do it justice. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Beach Hut - the house has everything we needed for our holiday and it was lovely being such a short walk to the beach or the general store. Communication with the hosts was very prompt and friendly.

Summary: Very clean, tidy bach with only 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the wharf. We had the best time with the grandkids spending their time between the two! Really loved it and would definitely book it again.
