4 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Ludlow

Our Contemporary Ski House is less than 4 miles from Okemo Mountain Resort. It is situated on 10 private acres in the South Hill section of Ludlow, VT with lovely views of Okemo Mountain.
Before we built our house we rented a lot of others and this is what we learned from them:
There's a large mudroom for skis, boots, boards and coats. Please leave your shoes here - it keeps the rest of the floors clean and dry!
The kitchen is large and open to the family room with a big island. It is well-stocked with everything from cookie sheets to cork screws. There are filters for the drip coffee maker, the spice cabinet is equipped with most anything you'll need to make a great meal.
The family room has a wood stove, xFinity TV and lots of seating (don't you hate those houses that sleep 12 but only seat 3?). We've even got a mitten and hat warmer (dryer) on the hearth next to the wood stove.
There are 3 full baths with plenty of hot water (we've never run out), so no one has to wait to take a shower after a long day of skiing / boarding / sledding.
There are 4 bedrooms (3 have queen size beds, 1 has two combo futon / bunk beds) and there's also a sleeping loft with 2 double futons and 3 twin platform beds complete with lots of blankets and pillows. Linen service (sheets, pillow cases and towels) is available for an extra fee or you can bring your own and save $.
There's a large driveway that can handle 5 cars without the need to jockey them around when someone needs to get out.
There's DRY firewood stacked inside on a rack in the mudroom along with buckets of kindling and more in a shed and racks outside next to the driveway.

Summary: Absolutely perfect! Clean, beautiful house with well stocked kitchen, cozy wood stove, comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows, and amazing hot tub. Bob was readily available and helpful. Driveway was even plowed after snow! Can’t wait to stay again!!!

Summary: My family and close friends got together for the second year here. We enjoyed it so much last year we extended our stay this year. We had the same magnificent experience this year. We enjoy making family style meals in the big open kitchen. Plenty of space for all of us to lounge around. We always make sure to use the hot tub while we're there. They did some nice updates since we were there last year. The new shower head in the downstairs bathroom is great! We'll be making this an annual family trip. Area is amazing and the chalet is perfect.

Summary: This chalet was the perfect retreat for our Vermont getaway! The house is beautifully designed, incredibly relaxing, and comes fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace. We stayed in the king bedroom on the top floor, and the new mattress made for an exceptionally comfortable sleep. The chalet served as our home base for a 4-night stay, allowing us to explore different areas of Vermont with easy day trips. Ludlow itself offers plenty of dining options if you prefer not to cook. While it was just the two of us, the chalet is spacious enough to accommodate large groups, with ample sleeping and living areas. Bob, the host, was fantastic! His communication was clear, detailed, and timely. We received all the information we needed well in advance, so everything went smoothly upon arrival. We highly recommend this property and would feel very confident booking any of Bob’s other rentals in the future.

Summary: The property location was perfect. Towards the top of a mountain afforded spectacular sunsets and cool nights. The communication between us and the property owner was great. Summary: Amazing property/host. Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable and anything you might need for cooking/baking available. many games to keep you busy while at the property. The area is beautiful with plenty of sightseeing, hiking, restaurants and shopping! The just north as amazing and communicated before during and after!

Summary: This fantastic house is roomy, comfortable and welcoming. It had everything we needed. Three families could stay with children and not be crowded, although we were all adults and had only up to 10 at any given moment. The hot tub was lovely and the surrounding property just beautiful. A warning about the dirt road might be a good idea for us city folks though, lol. Loved it and already figuring out when we can come back!
