Positive: Beautiful stunning location. Staff very helpful for room concerns (extra pillow) and luggage help check in and out.
Negative: Restrictions and difficult to use aquatic “offerings”. Attempt to book activities well ahead of your visit and find out restrictions so you won’t be surprised. Look outside property for options, hope this will work next time.
Summary: We’ll be back!

Positive: The beach is nice, the activities available on the beach are good fun and not too expensive. The room was big (2 x Garden Rooms) You can borrow bicycles.
Negative: There is no bar! Even though they have one by the pool, it is closed down. You can buy cans/bottles to have in your room or you can have drinks with your meals. We decided not to eat there as it is too expensive. Breakfast....just too different for me. There is a wide range of foods available, just not for me. I tried several dishes. Seaweed Omelette was ok. The main pool is quite small. Location is remote. There are a couple of decent places to eat just up the road though. Wouldn't stay again..Family of 5. Not worth the long drive from Naha for us. Better for families with kids under 10 years old.
Summary: Lovely beach but boring. Too remote.

Positive: Location is beautiful - nice quiet part of the island with good access to the North of the island The breakfast variety was good Great place if you have kids
Negative: We stayed in Palm Cottage and it was quite dirty and had a mouldy bathroom and there was a lingering smell of sewage. The reception area give the impression of a very grand resort but the accommodation we had didn’t really match. Pool doesn’t open until 9 so not available for quiet early swims. Restaurants were very expensive compared to really great ones nearby and the quality wasn’t great in the evening buffet
Summary: Great location but wouldn’t stay again

Positive: The resort has its own beach which, with coral white sand and turquoise sea, is heavenly. The swimming area is well patrolled and is very safe for families with small children. The landscaping of the resort is lovely and there's a great tree which hosts several bats every evening, which we really liked. The buffet breakfast had just about enough western options; similarly the dinner buffet. The swimming pools are lovely, again, ideal for families with children, and the onsen and sauna were great. We had a room in the Main cottage section of the site, which was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Negative: Since this is a resort geared towards Japanese families we found some of the restrictions slightly unexpected: the swimming pool doesn't open until 9am so a swim before breakfast is not an option. There is no gym either. The kayaking hire is heavily controlled and you can't go outside a certain area, similarly, you must wear a buoyancy aid for snorkelling within the swimming area. You can't snorkel outside it. The dinner options for western tastes are limited to the buffet which is too much to eat every night. Staff were very nice, but spoke little English and there is no bar for residents. There is an airport shuttle (it's a two hour transfer) but it only runs once a day, and our flight arrived in the evening, so an expensive taxi journey was our only option. The north of Okinawa is a peaceful area, and having a car would have been good on rainy days, where otherwise, there is nothing to do. This was the most expensive stay on a three week holiday in Japan, and though beautiful, for the facilities and lack of international flavour, I thought it was a bit overpriced.
Summary: Beautiful beach, peaceful resort with limitations.
