Positive: Old school in the best way - spacious rooms, beautiful building, quiet and thoughtful touches. Just steps from the Humber River and a wonderful nature escape in the city.
Negative: A couple of upgrades would be great - like smart TVs (or at least an option to stream), desk lamps to work, etc.
Summary: Old school quality & charm - escape the city without leaving the city

Positive: Great property, nice room, old charm. Hand carved wooden furniture and accents, fireplace in the room and jetted tub. Overall It was a nice place to stay. Its not city center, but if you need this location its a good property.
Negative: The toilets sound like a fighter jet sonic boom. You can hear other people flushing the toilet several rooms away or above you in the middle of the night. Really strange. The curtains in the room could not be fully closed, allowing sunlight in the morning to wake you. I also found the fireplace in the room not very straight forward to operate - there was a hidden switch that was not placed on the fireplace and there was no directions or signage to find it that I noticed.
Summary: Nice place to stay if you want this location.
