Positive: Great location, well proportioned (this house is actually two flats combined, so there’s two of everything!). Beds are comfy. Brilliant for us. We went to Howletts, had a day in Canterbury and then a morning in Dungeness. The local Indian restaurant is really good, too.

Negative: The showers weren’t brilliant but everything else more than made up for that.

Positive: The house is like staying at a family's home. It is in a quiet location, conveniently situated for where we needed to be. We had our own car so supermarkets were a 15 minute drive away. It had everything we needed for our week-long stay so we could cook and keep the space clean. There was plenty of room, and the garden would be especially lovely in the warmer months. The host was very helpful, providing clear information before arrival and communicating promptly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Positive: A lot of room: 4 bedrooms for up to 7 people. And 2 bathrooms. All required equipments that one may need during a family trip. Easy to park your car next to the house. Owner and neighbours are lovely!!

Negative: Not much… Could have been a bit more “modern” but it’s also what makes this place a charming and typical English house.

Summary: Definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

Positive: Very spacious property in excellent condition. Very clean all round. Comfortable beds. Well fitted out kitchen complete with clear instructions on how to use all of the equipment. Clean modern bathrooms. Everything in the property was to a high standard, lacking for nothing. A quiet location ideal for touring. A car is needed for the local shop 10 minutes away and supermarket/petrol 20 minutes away but we didn't find that a problem as we just planned our visits on the way home in the evening. Off road parking was useful as well. Would highly recommend if you are seeking a base for touring.

Summary: Highly recommended for its quality standard of fittings and finishes. Car needed for local shops.

Positive: This property was excellent. The property and facilities were more than I could have expected. The house is effectively 2 apartments, one upstairs and the other downstairs linked by an internal staircase. Both have their own kitchens which are well stocked with appliances, pans, crockery etc, as well as their own fridge freezers, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machine & dryer, vacuums etc, everything you might need! The downstairs bathroom has a step in shower suitable for someone with reduced mobility whilst upstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath. All of the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and tidy with storage, plenty of bedding and towels. Upstairs and downstairs each have their own sitting rooms with TVs and comfortable sofas. The downstairs sitting room is large and spacious, our family gathering had 13 people comfortably sitting there! The large downstairs dining room was an added bonus. The owner responded quickly to text messages and met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. He had supplied plenty of tea, coffee etc as well as milk in both kitchens, together with cleaning supplies, and other useful bits such as kitchen roll, foil, cling film, bin bags, dishwasher tabs, literally everything you might need. There is seating and tables outside in the garden area which would be great in the better weather. There is one designated parking space at the back of the property but there is safe parking nearby if needed. The TVs worked well and the WiFi was great too, in all the rooms. The property was very cosy, despite the poor weather, so we only used the central heating briefly, but it warmed up very quickly. Pets are permitted, which is vital for us, and the laminate flooring in the communal downstairs areas meant the place could be easily kept clean. We appreciated the 11am checkout time. The owner has made his property very welcoming with consideration for everything the guests might need.

Negative: There is nothing to dislike! The pub that was opposite the property is now closed and the property is on a rural road without pathway, so walking along the road, especially in the dark, would not really be ideal, a car is definitely recommended for getting to the pubs, about a mile away in each direction.

Positive: Great location for touring around Kent, off street parking and plenty of room inside to spread out. Beds were comfortable and facilities were all there.Would stay again.

Negative: The shower head upstairs had a bit of a mind of it's own and sprayed everywhere. Could possibly do with replacing. But that was very minor. Nothing else really, enjoyed our stay here.
