Summary: The place is a bit small but other wise a beautiful place. Could use a new pull out couch. It was very uncomfortable. Also more mixing bowls. But i would rent again.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay here in Suttons Bay. We enjoyed bonfires by the water every night, and drinking our morning coffee watching the sun rise every morning. The private beach is lovely. The water is rocky, but we had water shoes so we were still able to enjoy. The beach is natural, so there were a lot of bugs, and due to the specific location we were only able to enjoy the sunshine until about 2 or so. The room is perfect for a couple. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed and more. Kate did a fantastic job of providing lots of towels, outdoor utensils, plenty of cooking spices - everything! Loved the quiet street, and it’s close to everything you need in Suttons Bay. Overall, I would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a quiet and peaceful trip up north.

Summary: Overall, it was a great property and was supplied with the basics necessary. The kitchen is small, but has the basics to make most meals at home. Plenty of utensils to go along, pots, pans, etc(no griddle or mixing bowls. The living room, connected to the kitchen, has a sofa, a small flat screen TV, although we didn't watch anything; and a small breakfast table. The washer and dryer are a smaller capacity than most are used to, but having a laundry either way is always a plus. The queen bed was fairly comfortable, the bedroom is quaint, but was else do you besides use the bed in a bedroom. The closet holds enough space to hang clothes and a small dresser. There was a small propane grill(1 lb canisters), which actually did pretty well. It would be hard to cook for a party of more than 2-3. The firepit area was nice, it had Adirondack chairs, wood chips as a base for the ground, so it wasn't dirt or mud; and plenty of firewood. Although, bring an axe or a hatchet to split into smaller pieces or buy kindling/smaller firewood logs at a nearby neighbors or a convenience store. Firestarters maybe helpful too. Had a small beach, mix between mostly sand and some small rock/pebbles(we found several Petoskey stones and horn coral), maybe 15'x40', but it was quiet and private. Water was brisk in late June, not swimable for me, but was clear as can be, very little algae. Would recommend to anyone solo person or couple to enjoy. I would return for another visit if I was in the area again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. So cute and clean and stocked with everything we needed. We built a fire each night in the fire pit and watched to moon rise over the water. We’ll definitely come back!
