Positive: Toshiyuki and Chie were wonderful hosts. They gave us a very warm welcome, delicious homemade cake and vegetables from their garden. The furnishings of the house are beautiful and modern. It is very picturesque. We would have liked to stay there longer and definitely want to come back.

Positive: Really liked the beautiful house and hill gardens, and friendly hosts who invited us to try many new nature experiences, fruit picking. Super super great hosts, and nice setup with BBQ and nice woodworking on interior. Nice view and great to chat with owners about how to renovate a house and live in the countryside. Also the nearby dam was impressive to see, nice place for running, and saw wild badgers, and well as the many cats. Beautiful stars at night.
Negative: Wish we had stayed longer! At least 5 days, and try cooking classes. Bed was little too hard for me, but not bad.

Positive: The host provided guidance on how to use the facilities available. I appreciate the extra effort of the host personally instructing us on how to use the electronic locking system. An added feature in the form of a personally managed fireplace I had thought to be pretty cool as it was something I had no experience over and yet the hosts were able to instruct and manage us even if we were laymen. The accommodation itself was indeed superb but what made the experience exceptional was the service we received; constant and consistent communication, a warm welcome in the form of organic vegetables and surprise treats in the fridge, and 24/7 on call service. It was plainly nothing I had ever experienced elsewhere.

Positive: The host couple was extremely hospitable and welcoming. They went above and beyond for us, taking our luggage up the hill and leaving fresh farm picked vegetables and home made chocolate cake for us to enjoy. I highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Okayama! Its a great get away from the city and a beautiful little home.
