Positive: Lovely host, amazing project to give rebirth to old houses, keeping the old japanese culture alive, supporting local community and creating at the same time a place where people can meet, socialize and interact
Negative: Look like a hostel, only 1 shared bathroom might not be enough when crowded...from our side though, everything was perfect

Positive: Our host Rie offered us exceptional hospitality. She took us through the parts of the shared house, explained major sites in the village and made some excellent recommendations. We felt very welcome. This is a shared house, so you will be sharing the toilet and shower area, but the house is well-partitioned and everyone respects your space.

Positive: We were slightly sceptical about this place as it only had two reviews, but we are so glad we booked. This was a great guesthouse with traditional Japanese rooms in a gorgeous village. The host was incredibly helpful (even walking us to a local restaurant to make sure we got a space as everywhere was fully booked). We felt incredibly welcome, had comfy beds, a lovely room, and everything we needed.
Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Staying here was such a special place. The host is so kind and welcoming, and you so quickly feel like you’re at home. The rooms are comfortable, and have everything you need. Not only are the homes they’re restoring beautiful, but they’re filled with so much character and so well decorated. I can’t recommend coming and staying here highly enough, where we feel like we have a family now.
Negative: There were a couple times the wifi had some issues, but we figured it out quickly.
