The Golden Guest House is located in the center of Downtown Golden, Colorado. Quality microbreweries, restaurants, coffee, cocktails, live music, parks, trails, climbing, local festivals, and events happening all year long, within walking distance of The Golden Guest House. Golden History Park, and Clear Creek are right across the street. Family friendly, and set up to make your vacation easy—The Golden Guest House aims to impress you.
The MAIN LEVEL includes 2 bedrooms with a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom between them. The south bedroom (bedroom 1) has a new king size mattress, and the north bedroom has a queen (bedroom 2). Both rooms have small desks, and lots of space to store your things. The open living area has two sofas and lots of flexible seating for you to play games, watch movies, or just stare out the window at the stunning Rocky Mountains.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’d expect, along with a tea pot, French press, hand mixer, waffle iron, crock pot, roasting pans, baking tins, pasta, grains, hot cocoa, teas, sugar, spice, and everything nice.
Family friendly: A collection of games, and toys will keep young ones entertained. The television is set up for you to connect to Netflix, Amazon movies, spotify, etc. A Pack-n-Play is stored in the king size bedroom closet, with enough clean bedding, and towels for everyone.
The GARDEN LEVEL has a private king suite (bedroom 3) with adjacent flex area (bedroom 4). The large master soaking tub, sink, toilet, and dressing area have lots of space for you to spread out. Also a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom, you can allow guests in bedroom 4 to use the bathroom while still maintaining privacy in both sleeping areas. Laundry, kitchenette / dining area, and separate entrance all on the garden level.
You will have access to the entire front and back yards, charcoal grill, and small front deck looking out over Clear Creek History Park, and Clear Creek beyond.
8 adults will find the house comfortable, but some groups may have members willing to sleep on the sofas. Plenty of extra bedding, and lots of towels are provided for you. Large groups should be reminded to drive slowly, and keep the alley clear. The city of Golden allows only 4 unrelated guests to stay at once. Please reach out if you need more details about that.

Summary: I don't know if you can find a better location to stay in Golden. But the house is is very nice too. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms is a bonus!I will definitely stay here again if coming with a group.

Summary: Laura has really thought of everything. Her house was perfect. The kitchen is well supplied with great coffee and teas, snacks, and breakfast cereals.The bathrooms have supplies that you may have forgotten . There are a couple of bowls of chocolate. The decor is very eclectic and comfortable. There is an awesome outdoor space. To put the icing on the cake , the location is perfect. I wold totally stay here again when in Golden.

Summary: My family stayed with me at the Golden House for the weekend leading up to my son's wedding. It was a perfect gathering place and we were able to have a gathering with the wedding party in the courtyard before walking into downtown Golden. Everything was wonderful!

Summary: This was absolutely the most well equipped and comfortable VRBO I have ever stayed at. My wife and I stayed here with our entourage for our wedding weekend and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about this space and the amazing host. Laura was very communicative and responded quickly to all our questions, and was even able to arrange an earlier check in for our group. The house is so much bigger than the photos show with spacious common areas and cozy sleeping areas. This space was so eclectic and welcoming that my wife wants to live there now and we are already planning our return. However, I cannot end this raving review without mentioning the insane location of this house being walkable to any area of Golden, which allowed us to never have to drive. Thank you to Laura for being the most amazing host and we can’t wait to stay here again.

Summary: This is the perfect place to stay in the area! The house has everything anyone could possibly need! It has plenty of space and is in the perfect location in Golden! 10/10! I always look to book this place when coming to the Denver area. It’s about 20 min from downtown Denver, Red Rocks, and many hiking trails. Several trails, a creek, bars, restaurants, and shops are walkable as well! The house is well-decorated and cozy. I also appreciate the details the host puts into the house to make it a great stay as well such as plenty of cereal and maps/brochures! Thanks again for everything!
