Robinson's Roost is located in northeast Alabama on Guntersville Lake, on the Main Channel of the Tennessee River. It is approximately 1.5-2 miles south of Goosepond Colony Resort by boat, in the North Sauty area, just north of Mink Creek. Goosepond Marina hosts multiple bass fishing tournaments and is available for refueling while boating. Boat rental is available at Lakeshore Watercraft Rental located at 2300 County Park Road, Scottsboro. LSWR is under new management and is offering quality equipment.
Robinson's Roost offers:

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robinson's Roost! Plenty of room for us all to spread out. The bedrooms are spacious & comfy. The bathrooms are large. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and the house felt very private. We especially enjoyed the sunroom and the outside spaces. We'd love to stay again when we're in the area.

Summary: The house and boat house were excellent! Bedrooms and baths were great, big and roomy! Loved double oven and all the tv's! Owner was great to work with! A/C struggles if cooking in the house but the grills were perfect! Needs a bigger frying pan. Honestly besides the grass in the water, those are only small issues. The snacks, fruit and bathing supplies were a great surprise.

Summary: Grands, Children and Grandchildren. We greatly enjoyed this place. Beautiful view, fishing, kayaking, plenty of room to enjoy company. This place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable. Awesome place. We plan to return for a longer stay and maybe rent a boat.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this location. Wonderful both times. The setup of the is amazing. Room for all. We were spread out but yet still all together. With dinning room right off the sun room and living room we all could be together while doing our own thing. The massive kitchen table was the center of a mean game of dominos, 5 kings, blank slate, euchre and many other games we played while enjoying the view out the windows that surrounded us. Having the grill was a plus and loved the double ovens. This house is set up to entertain a large group. We had 10 adults with us on this last trip. Love going down to the dock and enjoy the view. Thanks for sharing your house. You feel right at home here.

Summary: This location is great for fishing and water activities during the season. We had a girls weekend in the fall and drove to Guntersville to shop and for dinner. It was a little to isolated for our purposes but would be good for a family.
