Welcome to your Windham Retreat! Enjoy incredibly easy access to some of the best skiing in New York. This home has all the extras and finishing touches that will make your vacation great, and it's only a short walk to Lower Wipeout.
On the main level, the recently remodeled kitchen features custom cabinets, beautiful granite counter tops and all the cookware and extras you could want. There is hardwood flooring throughout the house. The breakfast bar easily seats 4 and the dining table seats 10 and expands to 12 for more so you can all enjoy meal time together.
The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area in this open concept floor plan. Enjoy the comfortable leather sectional and kick back and watch some movies on one of two Smart TVs. If you really want to get cozy, relax by a nice warm wood burning fire upstairs or gas fire on the lower level. There are large decks off the main level and lower level. There are benches and Adirondack chairs so you sit comfortably with a spectacular view of the town and surrounding mountains. Enjoy the outdoor sauna and hot tub!
The main level has a half bathroom. There is also a large ski room that is the first room you enter coming in the front door. It is heated and features numerous ski racks, coat racks, and cubbies for your boots, helmets, etc. Two master suites feature en suite baths and the lower level has two bedrooms, each with two bunk beds. The lower level also features a pull-out couch.
We have a house cleaner who completely cleans the property between rentals. Surfaces and key touch points are disinfected. We also have basic cleaning supplies accessible to guests during their stay, should any cleaning needs arise.

Summary: Easy check in and owner was very responsive to any questions. House was clean and comfortable. 2 bunk rooms were ideal for families with several kids. Nice that they also get their own TV room space. Everything was great, especially the hot tub and sauna! Big dining table was also nice for all of us to gather and eat together, easily seating 12. Only minor negative (and it really wasn’t a big deal) was that the living room was a little tight and the leather sectional could only seat 4-5 comfortably, but we made it work with other chairs. Location to slopes was a 5 min walk down steps behind house and then about 100 years down the road. Very doable. All in all an ideal place for a ski weekend.

Summary: We rented the house for a ski weekend with another family and had ample room for all of us (4 adults, 5 kids). The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the hill was key for skiing with young kids and the kids loved playing in the snow in the large backyard. The hot tub and sauna were also amazing after full days on the slopes! Matt was also a very accommodating and responsive host. We loved our stay and are already talking about planning a trip back!

Summary: Great property. Not too bad of a hike to the trails. Easy on and off. The pictures don't do the house justice. It is a very nice place. And worth the high price. Matt is great and very communicative. We had one issue that was resolved in a matter of hours. Would and probably will rent here again.

Summary: Head a great extended stay at this great Windham home. Matt is a great host, was super responsive and very helpful. Hot tub and sauna was a hit and everything in the house was stocked well. We were a party of two families and the property worked great for us. Great views and plenty of space! Will be renting again.

Summary: We stayed at this property for the holiday week in December, with 2 families including 6 kids. The bedroom layout was perfect and the extra den on the bottom floor was excellent for the kids, while the main living room with fireplace was very relaxing for adults to reconnect without any TV . The kitchen was modern and well equipped, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Matt was very responsive to a minor issue we had after check in and had it resolved quickly. Our families will remember this trip for a long time!

Summary: We loved the house!! House was just as listed …loved the two bunk rooms for the kids The kitchen was well equipped and the huge table was great! House was clean and well supplied with towels blankets and sheets. Loved having two separate living rooms so the kids could go down stairs while the adults visited upstairs..Communication was quick Matt reached out to make sure we got in and settled..can’t wait to stay again! Summary: The description of the house is accurate. Four bedrooms: one upstairs, one on first floor off of the living room, and two bunk rooms on lower level. Three full baths and one half. The hot tub and sauna are refreshing after a day of skiing. The house is only a short walk down the road to get directly onto Windham Ski Mountain. Perfect for people to take a midday break and then get back on mountain without much fuss. The owner was available for questions both before and during our stay. Kitchen had most necessary items for cooking. Washer and dryer if needed for clothes. Loved the front entranceway for skiing equipment. There was plenty of wood for building a fire. Lovely wrap around porch with a view of the mountain. Driveway that held three cars comfortably. There were some family games which even my adult children enjoyed. We had read that the TV was hard to use so we brought a computer with a cable to attach to TV. Overall, everyone had a wonderful time.

Summary: Our family celebrated my husbands 30th birthday with a weekend away in the mountains. This house was everything we needed to enjoy a fun, family friendly weekend on the slopes. It is a short walk to a ski on run which gives you direct access to the mountain. If you are looking for a rental for a great ski getaway this is your place! Matt was super responsive and made check in and out seamless. I would recommend!!!

Summary: Overall things were great. Could have had more heat in the bedroom and its connected bathroom off the kitchen. Although both rooms were cold, the bathroom was the coldest. Need to upgrade the non-stick frying pans in the kitchen, they are showing their age. Also, Kitchen knives could be sharpened. Minor point, it would be nice to have Kleenex boxes around the house. Loved the Hot Tub and Sauna. Fireplace was wonderful also.

Summary: We just returned from a two-week stay at this house and couldn't have been happier with everything! The house was amazing with plenty of space for 10 adults, and Matt could not have been a more gracious or responsive host. It was a very short walk to the slopes (downhill both ways - very important with all the ski gear on!) and also a quick drive into town. The only suggestion I'll give is if you're big TV watchers, I would recommend bringing your own Apple TV/Firestick/Roku - there are 2 Smart TVs that do work but sometimes we had some issues, but this is SO minor in comparison to the beauty and convenience of the property. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Windham getaway!
