Summary: We loved the unit and the quiet neighborhood. Having the pool plus a small "lagoon" in front of the property was great for the kids. Would stay here again!

Summary: We (a family of 4) stayed at this condo for a week during Christmas Break. The condo is large, well built and well designed, albeit a bit dated (it was built in the 1980s). This was our first trip to Grand Cayman. The condo is on the North Shore about 45 minutes from the airport. The drive was easy, and our U.S. cell phones worked to provide navigation assistance. The North Shore is much quieter and less touristy than Georgetown, Seven Mile Beach, or the West Bay (on the western side of Grand Cayman). This worked just fine for us, but people looking for a party scene will want to stay on Seven Mile Beach. There are two snorkeling/scuba outfitters on the North Shore that can provide trips. Plus, the condo is a short drive from Rum Point (including Starfish Point and Bioluminescent Bay) and several other spots. The condo has a nice pool and private beach of its own. And there are restaurants and a (small) grocery store nearby for food options. Overall, it was a great trip and a good condo. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the condo is a bit dated (had it been recently built, I'd have given it a 5).
