Situated on the corner of the canal with 266' of waterfront, this home is located right in the heart of the Choctawhatchee River with easy access to the Choctawhatchee Bay and the fresh water springs to the North. Come to kayak, boat, fish, relax and so much more. Panama City Beach is 35-40 minutes away. 35 mins to Pier Park.

Corner waterfront lot! You cannot beat this relaxing space that you will soon think of as a home away from home. With a beautiful screened in back porch with a kitchen, you and your friends/family will never want to leave! Whether you are here for a relaxing getaway, to explore the Choctawhatchee River, or even a digital nomad; Hook, Wine and Sinker is your home!
This home is a getaway! By this, we mean that most things are a bit of a drive to get to (35-60min). Once you are here, it is a tranquil, beautiful escape. That being said, just remember to stop and get groceries on your way in!

Being a more secluded getaway service can be spotty. We have the fastest wifi available out here but it still may lag sometimes and can only handle a couple devices at the same time with good speed.
The house is on a well so the water may sometimes have a distinct smell to it in the shower. Nothing to be concerned about but just a heads up so you know why!

Summary: My husband and I were there for 3 nights. On the way, there is a several miles stretch on an unpaved road. We were unsure about being on the right road when the pavement ended, but it was fine. The dirt road was packed hard and very wide. The house itself has some wow factors that made it so nice. Every room was very spacious, as well as the downstairs outside under the house. It would be a great place for a family gathering. Lots of comfortable seating. The canal was pretty. The back porch was my favorite place to hang out. We took our golden doodle with us and had to leash her every time we went outside as there was no fenced in area at that time. The info we received for TV/remotes was outdated. I had to contact the property manager about that and other things. She responded quickly and we were able to work it out. She was very nice and helpful. Many great apps on the TV but local news wasn't an option. There are 2 neighborhood dogs who run loose. They are very friendly. I wanted to mention that because when I took our dog for a walk by myself, the dogs were loose and barking at us and I didn't know it was ok, so I was afraid to try to pass them. But we later found out they are super friendly, as are the neighbors we met. Again, the house was SO lovely and had everything we needed. We would take family and stay there again.

Summary: We had a grand time at this luxurious and serene off the beaten path house. We kayaked, we fished, we cooked and cooked some more! We played cards, board games and we watched the rain! This house is tops if you like outdoor activities, privacy and cooking. And it has the best porch!!! We basically lived on the porch.
