Cas About resort, adjacent to Cas Abou beach, is one of the most beautiful locations of the island, or perhaps the most beautiful. A small, quiet and guarded and gated resort with 50 private villas where living is spacious, private and secure.

white sand, palapa´s ( covered with palm leaf umbrellas) , palm trees and other tropical vegetation.

It has 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 with kingsize beds and 1 with a kingsize bed and a single bed, 2,5 bathrooms, a huge living room, a fully equipped kitchen and an enormous covered porch with 180 degrees magnificent panorama view facing the Caribbean Sea ! From the private pool you have the same view.
Total living space spans over 4,520 sqft. Plot covers over 17,200 sqft.
At the right side of the villa a unique view on the salt pans of Cas About where graceful flamingos congregate in the inland bay, finding their food in the salt water.
Next to the Dutch kitchen there are at Curaçao also a large number of international cuisines to find such as Argentine , Brazilian, Thai, Chinese , Japanese, Italian and more. The traditional local cuisine is also increasingly popular with tourists. Here you can for example enjoy delicious stews such as Karni stobá ( with beef ) , Kabritu stobá ( with goat ) , iguana (soup or satellite) or ´n Curaçao´s bunny.

Summary: We love this house! It's a great location for an adult gathering. Lot's of space to allow for quiet moments even if you're in a group. The view from the pool and the veranda is AMAZING. Beautiful sunsets every night. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need to cook meals and there's a stocked spice drawer as well. The bedroom air conditioning worked great which helps the comfortable sleeping temperature.There are some "quirks" to this house. The lower level bedrooms open to the outside - the proximity to the pool might be a bit worrisome if you had a toddler that can open doors.The wifi networks and passwords we were given didn't exist on our devices. Fortunately we had previous visits and our devices "recognized" the existing network and I was able to share the password. Beware the neighborhood pigs that raid the exterior trash cans - they're not an issue if you keep the gate closed.And I must mention that Hilde & Gerrit, the local hosts/housekeeper/maintenance staff are an absolute pleasure to interact with. They are quick to respond to any question/need!

Summary: Amazing views. Great location. Close to Cas Abou beach. Two bedrooms on the main floor. Three bedrooms on the lower level. Not good for anyone handicapped or small children. Don’t forget bug spray. Kitchen was well equipped. Neither of the sliding doors locked. Large gate must manually be opened and closed every time you enter and leave. Adaptors not needed. Will definitely return to this beautiful villa. Loved the location. Rented car from Just Drive Curacao. They provided great customer service and very reasonable. We paid cash for the car rental.

Summary: This property is indeed on the edge of a cliff with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. The lanai runs the full width of th house and has a table for 8, chairs and a sofa. Down one level is the pool area, which is very nice.The house has 5 bedrooms, but only the master bedroom is accessablle from inside the main living area.The kitchen is on one end, with a bar that seats 4. There is a long open space, then a couch and TV . Missing a dining table. This long space has 2 sets of sliding glass doors, each with 3 panes of glass that look out to the lanai and the ocean, however there is no seating inside in this living space that faces the ocean. The reason one would want to sit inside is the "no see um" bugs are very active at sunrise and sunset. We got large red bite marks that itched night and day for a couple of days. Bug spray with Deet was marginally effective.Air conditioning only in the Master Bedroom & 1 or 2 other bedrooms. No AC and No Fan in the main living space. No screens on the sliding glass doors. You can open the doors to get a breeze, but then you get the bugs too. Only had 1 beach, 1 bath, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth per person for the week. Towels were worn. Expected more and better. Dryer was brokenGate on driveway is very heavy to open and shut. Needs repair. Just my wife and I made the trip, but not good for families with small children - low railings - high cliff

Summary: The view from this place is great other than that it really needs some things addressed. When we arrived it was very musty and we had to air out directly. The towels and flooring really could have used a good scrub, The front gate did not work at the house so we had to move it manually not really that big of deal, but this property is located on a big cliff. The main areas of the property have no a/c, just bedrooms. These units try to keep up but just not real comfortable. The Wifi did not work at all so no tv or internet access. The beds are actually split twins pushed together it was okay. The garage and cleaning areas were full of ladders and painting supplies. After one night we just could not deal with all the issues so we went and stayed in town the rest of the week. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it really needs some attention.

Summary: This place has everything, it is located in the best neighborhood next to the most beautiful beach. Els is an amazing host and Hilde was available for any questions or needs that came up. Everyone in our family had a great time and this house was the biggest part of that. Look no further you will not be disappointed.

Summary: We were 7 friends staying in this beautiful property. The common area to eat with that spectacular view was incredible. We spent most of our time there. Els was very easy to work with and very accommodating. We had a great time. We just wished the common area in the living room had AC for the nights we wanted to escape the bugs. Overall we had enjoyed our stay very much! And we all fell in love with the 3 cats on the property that come every morning to eat from their bowl by the pool. ;)

Summary: I would love to give this property a 1 star rating so it would always be available when we want to stay here!!! The home is perfect for a small group that want to relax and enjoy the weather, the pool and the nearby beaches. If it's night-life you're looking for this is not it - quiet, secluded and so beautiful. We were saddened to hear of Ronald's passing and send our condolences to Els.
