It features 3 well appointed bedrooms with TVs, one with a full bath, and another full bath and laundry room off of the hallway. The open layout is great for family get togethers. The kitchen has a nice glass top stove, a spacious refrigerator, and all the dishes, cups, pots, pans, and small appliances you may need. The dining area would easily accommodate 6 or more people and there is another table off the kitchen as well. The living room is spacious and includes cable TV, and looks out over the main feature... The River- lots of frontage for fishing, wading kayaking, or just relaxing on the back deck overlooking the water. Or you could grill on the deck and eat at the outdoor table. A firepit is also provided for marshmallow roasting and memory making. Located near Raystown Lake for more boating, swimming, and fishing options. Summary: Hubby and I needed to relax and this was the perfect place! Everything possibly needed was provided -- down to spices and all the necessary "pots & pans" to create home-cooked meals! There were games for kids, fishing poles and a gas grill! Coffeemaker, no Keurig, but that didn't present a problem! The house was impeccable -- clean as a whistle -- and we literally felt like home! AC worked great given 90 degree weather, beds are OK -- not like ours at home, but ya' make do! Considering we stayed for a week, between the river being right out back (there wasn't a day we didn't get in) and Rayestown Lake being within close proximity, we totally enjoyed! Recommend visiting Isett's Heritage Museum which is less than 10 minutes away too! Just being able to sit on the deck at the end of the day, watching blue herons, turtles and the other wildlife was wonderful! Highly recommend and look forward to another visit!!

Summary: This was the cleanest vrbo we have ever visited. The location was visually pleasant with the river valley. There were many things to do nearby…. Raystown lake , 1000 steps etc as well as just relaxing there by the river fishing. drawbacks to mention were:1.the steep, older wooden stairs to the river had no handrails. Keep this in mind if you aren’t young & agile. The beds were not up to what I’ve experienced at other vrbo’s .also, it would have been nice to have a covered porch as it rained half of our visit. The TV had limited access 3channels That being said…. The inside was a very bright,lovely open concept design. We had everything we needed for a stay away. We will probably look for a different place in this area as I was concerned about our older crew falling as we navigated the steps & hillside . Otherwise it was tops.

Summary: Very, very clean. Excellent condition. Well stocked for all your needs. Grocery stores, gas, liquor, Walmart minutes away. Went to Raystown Resort about 30 minutes away for pontoon ride and peddle boat. Home is on private, quiet road on river. River is in your back yard! Barely got the kids out of the river to go to the lake! Boys did HOURS of river fishing...caught rock bass, small mouth bass and 1 eel. Kids swam or floated on rafts. Nice little dock and wall at riverside. 2 hooks to rope the tubes onto in the cement wall. House is so cozy, cabin feel, but with modern comforts. Everything spotless and very clean. One of the neatest things was seeing my college age kid's cell phone sitting on the dining room table for HOURS untouched because he was too busy hanging at the river. Rare, occasional, train didn't bother any of our sleeps, and I loved them because I grew up with trains nearby so they were conforting to me. Barely noticable. A little warm inside during the day but the AC had to work hard because it was high 90's. Keep the bedroom doors shut and it helps. Thank you for opening your home. Would love to come back!
