On The Rocks is exactly that! The southwest corner of the property borders, and has direct access to, a 5 acre glacial boulder field just waiting to be explored. Built in 2016 and set in the private community of Lake Harmony Estates, this 7 bedroom, 5 bath home is full of desirable features for any group be it inside or out, summer or winter. There is a small private beach, marina, and lake access for fishing and boating. This lovely home is only a short drive to Big Boulder Ski Area or Jack Frost Ski Resort as well as a golf course, miniature golf, movie theater, bowling alley, arcade, Split Rock Resort's indoor water park, and dining options. Spacious covered and open decks with plenty of seating allow your group to barbecue on the always fueled and ready Weber grill and dine in the mountain air. Watch the shadows move across the boulder field from the 8 person hot tub, or just take a quiet stroll. Spend some time in front of the indoor/outdoor fireplace. Not the outdoor type? Particular attention was paid to the interior and the very comfortable furnishings therein. A soaring beamed ceiling and plentiful natural light add to the spacious feeling of the great room. The home's game rooms boast a 65” TV, a rustic log 8' Olhausen pool table, an additional 55” TV, a dry bar with mini-fridge, a Tornado T-3000 foosball table, and 4 player Dreamcade® Vision 40 video game with a 40” screen. All the TVs in the house are Smart TVs, and each bedroom has its own. We think you will agree that “being On The Rocks” can be a very good thing!

Summary: Overall my group of 13 adults had an incredible time at this location! The house was exactly as advertised online, with games, linen, tolietries and other nice features. The jacuzzi was great, the kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and nothing was missing. Check-in/ check-out was easy, communication with the host was consistent, and the overall location is well situated near many restaurants and outdoor/ indoor activities. I recommend this to anyone and would gladly rebook.

Summary: Beautiful property with a spectacular boulder field! Walkable to beach and tennis courts. Lot's to do inside the house on a rainy day. Thank you for a wonderful extended family weekend getaway location!

Summary: We were a group of 9 adults and 8 children ages 10 months through 6. We had to bring a lot of baby gear, portable cribs and high chairs for 3 babies, one of which was overnight in the pediatric ICU during our stay. I also had to bring a lot of kitchen gear, mixer, food processor, large dishes for baking and serving, oversized cookware. Not nearly enough serving and cooking utensils were available. I cooked all 6 nights and used my own thick cotton placemats for every meal. I had to serve everything from the stove. I was afraid the wood finish of the dining table would get damaged. Also, no serving dishes big enough. Not enough dish towels. There was only one dish towel supplied. On a different note, the house layout was great and the dining table was a nice size. The bench made it easy to fit a bunch of little ones at the table. The house was clean upon arrival and the hot tub was in good shape and clean. The arcade machine, foosball and pool tables were a big hit. Towels! Very small and skimpy. I had everyone pack beach towels to use after hottubbing, and thank goodness. They supplemented the bath towels provided. One funny thing was We all kept finding trace amounts of very naughty metallic confetti around the house. The previous group must have been a bachelorette party. The kids had no clue so it was all good. All in all, I would rent On the Rocks again, and be better prepared on what to bring.

Summary: The stay at this property was special. We had a family of 7 deer come visit us at our back door. My daughter named them all. The house was warm with enough amenities to keep us enjoying family time whiled it rained for two days. We enjoyed the food at restaurants close by and visited Jim Thorpe. I love the Poconos in the fall. Great way to celebrate my 65th with my grown children and their families.

Summary: We had 5 families with young children stay in the house. It was well kept and organized. Bonus was that it was on a cul-de-sac. Hot tub was well maintained too. No surprises! The fire pit area was a bit small to fit all our families comfortably around it given the way it is situated on a slight incline, but it got the job done. Some of the more adventurous kids wanted to climb in the rock "graveyard" way behind the house which is not advisable, but it is far enough set back from the house where you can manage the situation fine if you're watching your kids. Overall a good grab!

Summary: Stayed here for a get together with friends and family. It was an excellent weekend. House was well maintained, & everything worked. Just as described. The beach/lake was tiny and absolutely packed, so we could not utilize the beach passes. However this has nothing to do with the home. So over all 5 star experience would recommend !

Summary: The house was a great fit for 16 women for a weekend stay! The check in process was easy and communication with the host was very convenient. The layout of the house is great for a big group. We loved enjoying the fireplace in the living AND on the deck!
