This is a one of a kind property located in beautiful Sky Valley, Georgia. The house is situated on top of a mountain with absolutely breath-taking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia. Some mornings you will wake up to being 'above the clouds' and sometimes even above the rainbow! The home has three bedrooms, 2 baths and a very comfortable great room with a stone wood burning fireplace and which includes the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is a completely equipped 'chef' like kitchen. The dining room has seating for 8. There is a deck which spans across the entire back of the home. There is a covered area with a table which seats 8 people. The deck is equipped with a Weber gas grill and a Weber charcoal grill. And there is also a wood burning chimenea. The entry to the home is level as is the driveway, which is unusual for most Sky Valley homes. It is warm and welcoming and a place you will not soon forget.

Summary: It’s all about waking up every day and experiencing Mother Nature at her best. Sitting outside with your coffee hearing the birds with an occasional humming bird visit.

Summary: Watching the sun rise and set and the clouds rise was a spiritual experience. Though the cool porch was our favorite place, the kitchen was well-equipped and the long table was perfect for our family. We love this home and will return. I would remind other visitors to bring their own towels and bring sheets if you are not a flannel fan.

Summary: The home is in a super location with amazing views. This is a very well appointed property with everything you need. Centrally located with access to several great towns within 30 min to an hour. The host is very responsive and seeks to make sure you are delighted with your stay.

Summary: The property sits at the top of the mountain (so be prepared for lots of twists and turns to get up to the top) and has a gorgeous view from the back deck. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a nice fireplace which made it feel cozy. There were too many personal items for us though, as we are used to having a more "hotel" feel to properties we stay at. The house is very close to many great hikes and waterfalls so we did enjoy those outings.

Summary: The home was comfortable and as described other than being in a resort type community (my first time), back porch view was great. If you are like my family we spend most of our time outside, this home doesn’t necessarily have a yard to dwell or let the kids play in, parking is tight, so if you have more than one vehicle the second would be a pain if it’s a dually or crew cab longbed. The road leading to this place is narrow with a lot of homes and curves you cannot see around, we had to stop quickly a few times to keep from causing an accident (thank God we did not). Host was easy to contact, all in all if your city folk looking to get away, or a group that loves golf, this is your place. I do not recommend it for an outdoor family or someone used to having some good yard space.
