This vintage cottage is beautifully redone with classic mouldings, tall ceilings, new kitchen, and bathrooms. During your stay we hope you enjoy the historical allure as well as the modern comforts of the home.
The house has three bedrooms and an open kitchen/living room to relax and unwind. The house has Wifi, a 40 inch TV with cable service (Spectrum), and a kitchen that is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, plates, dishes, toaster, glassware, etc. For your convenience we also provide a coffee/tea bar with everything you would need to make an excellent cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch or in the backyard on the large private deck.
The Inn at 701 is located just a short walk (0.4 miles) to the charming historic main street where you will find casual and fine dining, craft beer, wine bars, outdoor beer garden with live music on the weekends, local spas, ice cream and cupcake shops, and fantastic bakeries. Art galleries, antique shops, and a variety of quaint boutiques that are among the best in the hill country line the historic main street.
The old depot walking trail is close by for a great brisk walk in the morning. Another close by walking trail takes you along the river where you can enjoy ducks, geese, and beautiful surroundings.
While staying in Boerne you can enjoy many of the surrounding areas just a short drive away. Cave Without a Name, Cascade Caverns, Boerne Lake, Lukenbach, Comfort, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Fiesta Texas, Sea World, and the San Antonio Riverwalk can provide a nice day trip.

Summary: My mom friends and I stayed here on a much needed girls trip. We had no plans besides relaxing. The house seemed to be in a very safe location, easy to get in and out of, close to town but quiet. Our favorite thing was all of the wildlife we saw in the evenings. Both evenings, we saw a bunch of deer run through. The first evening, a little fox went by. There is also a cat (I don't think it belongs to the house) that would come around when we sat outside, but was never bothersome. We had everything we needed inside (soap, towels, shampoo, coffee, cream, water bottle, etc.) Clean up requirements were easy and minimal. One of my friends loved it so much she joked about buying the house. 10/10 would recommend!

Summary: The house had a lot of character. It had been nicely redone to have many updated amenities and yet maintain the original charm of the house. It's in a great location with easy acess to downtown and to the River Road.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day stay. The decor is lovely, there were plenty of towels and toiletries and the kitchen utensils, dishes and cookware was well stocked. Location is perfect and walking distance from both the Main Street shops, restaurants and the Cibolo River Walk. Couldn't have asked for a more ideal vacation stay!

Summary: Terrible sulfur smell in laundry closet that permeated the back room of the house. Disappointing landscaping and run down back patio. Why is the king size bed not in the master suite? Very weird. Bedroom with no place to hang your clothes No long mirror to check your outfit. Bathroom grout noticeably dirty. Cob webs in windows.
