Positive: Very unique. Lush vegetation/forest, the tree houses are just splendid. Exceptional views. Very attentive staff. Great food. Very fresh ingredients. Great drinks! It is very peaceful also and therapeutic. Privacy is guaranteed. All you hear and see is nature. Wonderful for a retreat from work.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Excellent for body and soul and spirit. Would recommend 100%.

Positive: Everything. This place is truly unreal. Nothing really compares to this place it is otherworldly. It feels like a true paradise. I looked at this as an investment in my memories because we honeymooned here and you absolutely get what you pay for. The food, views, service, architecture, spa, gym. Your stay includes access to the spas sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and mud bath. I wish I had known this on day one because we would've gone every day! Every restaurant is spectacular. I wish we could go every year for two weeks.

Negative: I can't do dairy or gluten and while the chefs were very accommodating to those issues you'd think for a hotel of this high of a standard they'd have more unique options at all their restaurants to accommodate to those needs. When I return I'd love to see some gluten free/ dairy free pizza options as well as maybe some tofu or tempeh dishes with a lot of flavor as well as some desserts. Hopefully gluten free soy sauce as well so they can do some of the other soy sauce dishes gluten free. The only time this was a real issue was ordering room service. I could still eat but not of high quality as I'd expect for the prices we were paying. Expect to pay around a minimum of $170 per meal for two people or closer to $200 if you order drinks and tip well. They really do nickle and dime you for a lot like even the snacks they put in your drawer which are obviously irresistible when you finish the day drinking at the beach haha. Also their excursions are extremely overpriced as well as their arranged taxis. You're probably better off booking something offsite through a different transportation and travel business. You're paying for convenience and luxury service. Their arranged rides are pretty snazzy with beer and drinks included so thats a bonus but still quite pricy. Oh and you will need to keep pesos or ones on you at all times. We felt awkward not tipping the staff for every golf-cart ride but its your only option of transportation while there so we had to put some boundaries around that for ourselves. We significantly tipped our hosts, room service, housekeeping, and two other golf-cart drivers that picked us up frequently that we bonded with as far as cash. I wish we had come better prepared with more $1s and $5s though. For all the meals and such we generally left the suggested 15% or 5% more if they really blew us away which was 99% of them haha.

Summary: Best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life on all aspects of views, food, service, room, experience.

Positive: Villas were excellent. The property was pristine. Service and hospitality is up to par with the top 20 hotels/ resorts worldwide.

Negative: Food and food services have room for improvement. For example, if your guest orders coffee, bring some cream, sugar just in case. Menu choices are limited. Unfortunately, when the best choice is the buratta pizza, it’s disappointing. Anticipating guest needs can also improve.

Summary: Memorable with opportunities to make it the best.
