Positive: We were greeted by the very lovely Deborah, she explained everything about the apartment, where to get breakfast in the morning and how to get around San Marino. Everything in the room was very personal to the owner and her journey was explained in a lovely way. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities overall were very cute. Would definitely stay again if in San Marino

Negative: The bar outside was quite loud until late, but it didn't bother us

Negative: Parking was a challenge as there was a local event during our stay and we had to move the car 3 times.. Breakfast was very poor in that you were limited to either coffee or orange juice and a pastry or a sandwich at a local cafe. The staff in the cafe were great and very helpful and the view from the terrace was awesome

Positive: Our host, Deborah, met us upon arrival, which was good because I don’t know that we would have found the accommodation on our own. There is a non-descript door just off Borgo Maggiore which opens up to the bedroom. We liked the location and the bed was very confortable.

Negative: We thought the room was great, but it could perhaps do with some adjustments. Closet space for clothes was a bit limited, and there were no curtains to shut out the light, but we discovered the shutters outside the window to do the trick. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you, between the clock tower chiming throughout the night (every 15 mins??!!), and the revellers from the bar across the road who continued their party on the street! …but that’s all part of the charm, supposedly!
