4 Bedroom Cabin in Pine Ridge, Pine Ride

Silver Mine at The Lake is a spacious, open concept four bedroom rental unit. It is located next to the famous Tight Hollow old growth forest. We have a catch and release lake on the property for you to enjoy. Stocked with catfish and many other types of fish. Fishing is at own risk and life vest ( provided) are required as we do not have a lifeguard on duty. This is a lodge setting but privacy is not an issue as there are only two rentals in the building and they are located on opposite ends of the building.

* We will do everything we can to fix any issues that may arise but some things are out of our control and that is why they are not guaranteed.

QUIET HOURS: 11 pm
* A signed rental agreement and photo id is required 48 hours prior to your stay. If not received or not within renting age, refund returned will be the percentage in place at time of cancellation
* Security cameras are in use on the exterior of the building only. They are located on all 4 corners facing outward. The front cameras catch traffic coming in and going out. We also have a camera pointing down the porch to catch anyone driving around the building and putting potential guests at risk. The backyard cameras are facing out in the yard and porch step only. The main purpose of the cameras are to deter potential criminal activity due to being a remote location. They are also used to ensure we are following Kentucky's Short Term Rental Laws as well as State Fire Codes by only allowing a max number of 10 guests. The law states 2 per bedroom and two additional guests. If privacy or what is visible is a concern I have no problem meeting you at the property to show you in person and in real time.

Summary: Everything was exactly as described maybe even better! Loved the backyard, the view and the cabin was extremely clean. The location was close to hiking and underground kayaking. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. It was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend!

Summary: The property was excellent, very clean, and true to the pictures. We had 7 adults here very comfortably. The location is very close to several hiking locations and only 10 minutes from a grocert store. We cooked 3 meals here instead of going out, and all of the cooking utensils and such were clean and ready to use. Will definitely be back again!

Summary: The pictures don't do this justice. Very nice interior and the back of the property opens up to a beautiful wooded area with a lake and a nice view. Very private feel with some cool bonus features like a pool table and arcade machine. Blinds aren't sufficient to keep light out so made it a little harder to get the kiddos to sleep. Overall though - an awesome experience. Stayed with 5 adults and 2 children under 6.

Summary: Myself and 7 others came down for the weekend, to ride sxs’s at Hollerwood off road park. Communication with the host was wonderful! The location was great! 15 minutes to the park. The lodge its self was awesome. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, blackstone grill and loved the open layout. It is ideal for a group of friends or family looking to get away together. The place was extremely clean and well kept and everything worked as should. The one and only complaint, and I wouldn’t even consider it a complaint, but is maybe provide more trash bags and clean towels. We ran out of towels fast and trash bags. Other than that, 0 complaints and we are already discussing coming back again!!

Summary: Beautiful appointed cabin. Nice, clean and beautifully decorated. Very roomy. We had 6 adults and had plenty of space. View from backyard very nice. Wish it had been a little more secluded. Decor lights in back yard and porch added a lot to atmosphere. RECOMMENDATIONS: Better lighting in kitchen area. Our family loves to cook together and very hard to see. Could have used bigger pots and pans and needed cookie sheets and baking dishes. Plenty of towels and wash cloths available but no dish cloths or dish towels. TV SAID CABLE but you have to use your own internet TV apps. Spent long time trying to figure this out so we could watch UK game.

Summary: Can't beat the location - close to trails. Very clean - not even cobwebs on the porch! Good layout with lots of space for 2 families. The yard was beautiful - hammocks, fire pit, hot tub! Pool table and arcade game a hit with the kids. Not many windows in the living space, so it feels pretty dark inside so we spent more time on the huge back porch.

Summary: We loved our stay. It was very clean and even better than than the pictures showed. The kitchen had everything we needed. It had plenty of space for our two families to stay. There is a huge outdoor space with a hot tub, fire pit, tables and hammocks. There’s a pond behind the house to walk to. The only downside is that all the rooms are right next to the main area and kitchen. There is no insulation for the rooms so there’s no quiet place for people who go to bed early, so if that’s what you need you may need a noise machine. But other than that this is a great house. The location seemed odd to us at first because the entrance seemed like we were in the wrong place. But once we figured it out we loved it. It is really close to Natural Bridge State park and Grays Arch which is what we did during our stay. We ate at Thatchers BBQ while we were there. If you like bbq I highly recommend it. Very good!
