Positive: Very clean rooms/common areas and friendly staff. The hotel itself was really good - we liked everything except maybe for the breakfast having limited options.
Negative: The hotel is very nice, but the location is not safe, especially if you are traveling with small kids. We saw substance abuse and aggressive folks right outside the hotel, and that was during daylight.
Summary: Amazing hotel, great value, unsafe location.

Positive: Breakfast very good. Continental style and plenty of it. Rooms very comfy, lovely beds, good tv, good shower couldn’t fault room at all.
Negative: Although no fault of the hotel the area wasn’t the best. Didn’t encounter any problems but felt a bit uneasy walking around at night, especially in the subway. Although there was plenty of police presence and we didn’t have any problems at all personally. Very handy for subway into central New York.
Summary: Excellent hotel, first class staff and facilities, would definitely stay again if visiting New York.
