Summary: The house was perfect for our family. We have four kids and were stuck inside most of the weekend due to rain. The house kept the kids entertained with the muliple hiding spots for hide and seek, board games, crayons, and a coloring book. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with anything we could possibly need. We asked if we could check-in a bit early and April was quick to respond and allowed us to check-in even earlier than we asked.

Summary: Stayed here with my wife and 4 children while visiting some of the sights around the area. The place was clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and helpful. They even provided free ice and bottled water. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast, all we had to provide was the food. Highly recommend if you are looking for a home away from home for a few days.

Summary: We stayed for a night to watch our son run the marathon. The house was very clean and cozy, and the hostess was great. We will definitely come back again.

Summary: The house was super comfortable and clean. The town felt very safe and the people were super nice. We had everything we needed. The kids were glad to each have their own bed. We ate dinner in Hurley—recommend Spider’s for great service & good WI food. Best part we dipped in Opie’s Timeout that is walking distance only a couple blocks away for a couple of beers without the kids and quite enjoyed chatting with the bartender and regulars!

Summary: Although Opie’s Retreat is plenty big enough for a bigger group, it is also perfect for just two! My friend and stayed at Opie’s this past weekend and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. It is beyond clean and organized. It is supplied with everything you need from coffee to ice! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. I could go on but if you are reading this review and thinking of staying here, you won’t be disappointed! Also, Opie’s Sports Bar (about a block away) has excellent service and the nicest people to talk and laugh with. Locals and visitors both! We had a blast! A Special thank you to April and Opie for their kindness! 😉
