Positive: Overall we had a great stay here. Location was good and handy to a lot of locations and not far from our family, which was why we chose it. The house was nice and was clean and tidy. Decorated nicely. Lots of off-street parking which was great. There was a nice welcome gift when we arrived which was a lovely surprise.

Negative: We stayed for two weeks so we did notice a few things which could be addressed for a better stay for others. Unfortunately there was no clothesline outside so was hard to dry washing. There is a washer/dryer but it doesn't dry clothes very well. The beds were nice but incredibly soft, which some people might like, but was not comfortable for us. The driveway could do with the massive potholes being filled in as you can't avoid them. The TV in the lounge was a great smart TV, but it was too small for the space. More like a bedroom TV then a main one. A few key items missing from the kitchen, such as tongs. On our last day it got very humid and there was an infestation of flying ants that came out of the house on the inside in the lounge. This really needs to be addressed as there were about 200-300 so must be a nest! Not a very nice way to finish our stay 😞.

Positive: I recently stayed at Orchard Cottage and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The setting was peaceful with beautiful views all around, making it the perfect place to unwind. The cottage itself was spotless, cosy, and felt instantly welcoming. The beds were unbelievably comfortable — genuinely some of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time. The living room was spacious and ideal for relaxing after a busy day. I honestly can’t fault a single thing about my stay. Everything was just so nice, and I’d happily return without hesitation.

Positive: What didn’t we like about the property It was lovely spacious had all we needed and more and the views from the living room were stunning We stayed new year eve till 3rd Jan and New Year’s Eve night we looked out the window and could just see all the fireworks going off from over the water over in Liverpool heswall etc it was beautiful And the property is tastefully done beds very comfortable Nothing is done on the cheap Parents came for a day and they want to book same as ourselves

Negative: Absolutely nothing it was everything we needed and more
