Summary: My family consisted of three generations. There were plenty of bedrooms so that we had room to spread out and be comfortable. We loved Ballyvaughn and everywhere else we wanted to go on the west coast was so convenient. This lovely home is perfect for large groups. We had a most relaxing week.

Summary: We had a wunderful time at the year change 21/22. The beauitful house and area was perfect for us 4 Couples und some kids and a good base for trips in western Ireland. Many thanks to Karen and John and best wishes to Magaret and the O'Loclainn's whiskey bar. Avoid the ferry from france in stormy winter, when your aren't realy seaworthy. ;-)

Summary: Lovely house. John was really great to deal with. Karen was really helpful during our stay. Couldn’t thank them enough. Big, spacious house really suitable for a large family gathering. We’ll come again! It was already our second time!

Summary: Our family (4 adults, 4 children ages 9-17) rented June 2019. My husband is from Co. Galway, it was our 20th visit to Ireland, and the first visit for our grandchildren. The house location is perfect for touring to the north and south. The grounds are well maintained The house is well equipped for large groups. We were concerned about the condition of the bathrooms ( since there are no pictures on VRBO and the owner was on able to Provide) but they were clean and modern. The laundry was located in a separate building, in close proximity to the house, but it was not well maintained/cleaned. Although the furniture photographed well in the add, the chairs in the main living room and in the sitting room were stained and worn. We were provided with one large and one small towel per person for the week. We requested additional towels and were provided with four towels. My husband was disappointed that he was unable to access Irish channels on the TV. Grocery shopping in Ballyvaughan is limited and the closest butcher is in Lisdoonvarna.
