Positive: Beautiful gardens. Huge pool (1.5m deep so not for small children). Rooms are not massive but they are exceptionally clean. Large comfortable bed. Spotless linens. Small balcony overlooking pool was perfect. Owner on hand but never in your face. Really lovely man. Obviously cares about the standard of service, could be seen cleaning pool every day. Close to shop, restaurants and the beach. V quiet and private garden.

Negative: Nothing. There were a lot of ants and some wasps but I’d rather that than have a bare garden and I don’t like killing things for the sake of it. I think a nice touch would maybe be a small welcome bowl of fruit or a small amount of coffee just enough to get you settled after a long journey. Might I suggest some leaflets / information about what to do in the area? Maybe put a file near the pool with an idea of attractions, bus time tables and maybe a small book swap area? Overall though the place is pretty much perfect. I would definitely go back. 🫶

Positive: I have absolutely loved the place and the host. The room has a beautiful pool in a nice garden, everything is clean and the host is very attentive. I would definitively stay there again.

Positive: The best rooms we have stayed in, in Greece. Excellent shower, beautiful bathroom, very comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels frequently ( every two days). Very helpful owner. A choice of good restaurants within walking distance plus a bakery and supermarket.

Negative: Kitchenette could have been slightly bigger - minor point. Pool had algae while we were there. Car parking area got a bit muddy when it rained.

Positive: Orea is a true paradise, ideal for a relaxing summer holiday! The apartment has all you need for a dreamy time in Zakynthos. The lovely garden, surrounded by gorgeous olive trees and banana palms, is the perfect setting for an idyllic swim in the pool. The location is also perfect for reaching the most beautiful beaches on both the east and the west coast of the island. While we were there, it was also super quiet and peaceful, and our host has graced with extra kindness and care. You do get a wonderfully charming family feeling in this place as the owners live nearby and are very welcoming and easy-going. Absolutely loved our stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, not crowded holiday location.
