Summary: We (2 families with 3 kids) had a wonderful week at lago di orta. The house is perfect, very clean and there was nothing we missed. The kitchen is well equiped and very modern, we had often a bbq outside and enjoyed the beautiful lake-view from the terrace. The bedrooms are very comfortable, there is more than enough space in the living rooms. Manuela is a perfect host and very kind and friendly. She offered us (for example) to take some fruits from the trees, which we enjoyed very much. We used the private and nice beach very often to ta a swim (you have to cross a road to get there, which is a little bit tricky because of the traffic). The house is located very good, so we did some excursions e.g. lago maggiore (isla la bella), which is very near. Also there are some very nice hiking trails, which you could reach in a short time. Thanks to Manuela for everything!!!!!

Summary: The apartment was lovely and Manuela had taken a lot of trouble to make it welcoming. The views are absolutely beautiful. It’s a good base to explore the area if you like a quiet location, and lots of woodland walks straight from the door.
