Originally built in 1901 Orting Manor has been recently renovated to reveal a stunning and historic manor eager to welcome you and your family.

Sleeping up to 16 guests with 6 bedrooms/4 baths, Orting Manor has room for the whole group. Each bedroom has a cozy yet historic vibe that reminds us all of our place in history in a way only classic architecture can. While the home is historic it also has all the modern conveniences of today including a beautiful brand new kitchen and wifi.
The amazing features aren't confined to the house, the grounds are equally spectacular with an in-ground pool, plus a pool house, in the beautiful backyard. Out front the classic wrap around porch just calls you outside for that morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.

Strictly No Pets Allowed. Penalty of $500 applies.

Summary: The Orting Manor is lovely with pleasant, but not immaculate, grounds. Maybe I missed where its listed but the pool is not heated and the hot tub is broken. The pool house is nice and the outside bathrooms are clean. Most of the beds were comfortable (the room at the front of the house's bed wasn't) and the rooms were all nicely decorated. The drapes in some of the rooms don't fully cover the windows so it is up with the sun for the unlucky occupant! Downstairs is the most beautiful and the furniture is lovely and fairly comfy. Only one rocking chair on the large wrap around porch (odd) but a nice bistro table on the balcony off one of the upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware but sadly lacking otherwise. No bottle opener, waffle iron, measuring utensils, mixer, basic spices, etc. The house itself is a wonder to behold and, I'm sure, has a rich history but there was no information available about that. No t.v. (fine with us), games or books. Within walking distance to a wonderful park and some restaurants. If you're not having a wedding there, the price seems steep.

Summary: There were some minor issues in the bathrooms - upstairs has no hot water, downstairs sink does not work and the pool house heater wasn’t working but we had a lovely weekend and could easily work around the issues.

Summary: The house and grounds were beautiful and very comfortable. The communication was less than desired but we got what we had to have.

Summary: We booked this property for our wedding weekend to have our bridal party stay with us as well as have family photos done on the property prior to our wedding ceremony. We booked this home on vrbo before we even knew it was an official wedding venue because of its size and the beautiful landscape for the sole purpose of having the bridal party photos here. After booking the vrbo home, We spoke to one of the Orting Manor managers/coordinators and explained exactly what we were doing, did a walk through to plan cute photo spots for the morning of the wedding and not once were we told we had to book an event for this through the actual manor (because it's NOT an event). Fast forward to our wedding weekend, we had some greenery vines added to the gazebo and candles to make it dreamy/romantic for our wedding portraits exactly as planned when doing the walk through. Had our ceremony/reception at the venue we booked at a different location and we were back at the manor with our bridal party after our reception (the original people booked in our reservation). Had a blast. Checked out- then got an email saying we owed $1800 ON TOP of the price we already paid for our stay. Redawning quoted "because of evidence of an event held here". We took off all the added "decor" on the gazebo, left the house in great condition with all the rules respected in the book, and they insisted to pay this fee because no one was informed of "having an event". We tried to explain what really happened, unfortunately every email sent from redawning is from a different name. Both Orting Manor & Redawning were not willing to listen to us anf 1st demanded the money for "the event", after the explanation said "for axtra cleaning".. ($1800, really?). The worst experience with the compay and a complete scam. We hired a lawyer to deal with this as they actually submitted a charge. If you're looking for a beautiful family stay, please book somewhere else. If you're looking for a cute venue, please book somewhere else to avoid unknown charges. There are other options out there. We chose Orting Manor and it sadly turned a beautiful celebration of marriage into unnecessary tension and just an overall poor experience.

Summary: Wasn't informed on how to access property. Lovely manor in a pleasant area. Close to great park and near good food. Grounds are nice. Was not told the hot tub was out of order and must've missed where it noted that the pool isn't heated. Pool house is nice and the outside restrooms were clean. Inside is LOVELY. Nicely decorated and charming. Clean and comfortable. Most of the downstairs windows do not have drapes or blinds so prepare to be seen! There is only 1 rocking chair on the big, wrap around porch which was too bad. Kitchen had plenty of place settings and silverware and little else. No bottle opener, few cooking utensils, no waffle maker, mixer, blender, or the like. No basic spices. Upstairs is also beautiful but drapes do not cover windows fully so be prepared to wake with her sun. Most of the beds were SUPER comfortable and there is a nice bistro table on the balcony overlooking the backyard. No information about this historic manor included which made me kinda sad.
