This incredible 2 bedroom cabin is ideal for writers, artists, or busy professionals seeking a calming respite from the hustle and bustle of life. This beautiful, newly refinished cabin is located in the exclusive gated community of Chaparral Aspen Ranch just 10 miles from Aspen and Snowmass, and a mere 6 minutes drive away from the legendary Woody Creek Tavern. The combination of privacy and convenient access to two world class mountain resorts creates a special experience for the discerning traveler.
You will love the welcoming front porch where you can spend time soaking in the panoramic views of the Aspen and Snowmass mountains. Upon entering this charming cabin you will find a warm and inviting open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Mountain modern decor and thoughtful touches combined with the historic cabin feel create a comfortable and functional vacation rental experience. Upstairs you will find a large master bedroom with a king bed and spacious en-suite bath. This bedroom features an air conditioning unit in the summer months. The second bedroom is located on the lowest level also with a newly refurbished en-suite bath featuring a large walk-in shower. In the summer months you will enjoy the naturally cool comforts of this lower level bedroom. The staircase to the downstairs bedroom does have a door however there is not a door to close off the upstairs bedroom. As one bedroom is on the lowest level and one on the top level this space provides just enough privacy for any travel companions to share this lovely accommodation.
Wildlife, for example deer, elk, foxes, bears and coyotes have been known to wander through, so please do not leave food outside at night. The Chaparral Aspen Ranch horses enjoy spending time in the hills around the property. If tennis is your sport, you will appreciate the on-site court in the front of the main property. The views may take your eye off the ball however! The cabin sits 60 yards above the owner's main house so it is easy to contact them regarding the availability of tennis.

Most of the time a 2wd is just fine, but during the winter/spring months, a vehicle that can navigate snow is a must. A 4x4 is essential in order to navigate the roads and driveway. Please plan accordingly.
***Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have central air conditioning. A window AC unit is installed in the upper level bedroom and fans are provided for in the rest of the home for your comfort***
****Due to county lodging restrictions there is a 4 night minimum stay throughout the year.****
