The Private access loft has fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and all the cook and tableware for home cooking. Updated WiFI supports work environment and Video streaming. ATT and Verizon cell service accessible. Hardwood oak flooring is bordered with Brazilian rosewood, walls finished in local Knotty pine and Cedar and walnut trimmed. Gas fireplace, a Queen, a Full sized bed, full bath.
Guests stay warm and cozy and comfortable in winter with gas free standing Stove and cool with Air conditioning in summer. The Loft is not setup or equipped for infants or small children. We do not have a high chair, crib or bedding for infants or small children.

Summary: It was great to be so close to the state park for hiking. Some beautiful views there and the fall colors are beautiful.

Summary: I stayed here to get away from the cities and work on my novel. It was very cabin-y and cozy, not a lot of distractions. I liked the kitchen and that it had some basic cooking supplies. Tom was a great communicator, and let me check out late so I could have a slow, relaxing morning. The area felt very conservative - not a super safe-feeling place for a little flamboyant gay guy all on his own, but I mostly stayed inside anyways. If you’re into hiking, there's plenty in the area! Between the White Water State Park and the Wildlife Management Center, there is a ton of beautiful scenery and nature. This would be a fun place to stay with a hiking crew. There were just a few small details that I think would've made the stay complete. A few boxes of kleenex, a hamper for used towels/rags, and some spare cooking oil. Otherwise, it covered all the basics, and that's just what I wanted! I got a great deal of writing done :)

Summary: Property is welcoming and tranquil. The little guests next door (kittens) made our 13 year old son's stay complete. He adds that the beds and couches were comfortable, and it felt like home. We agree ; ) Thank you Tom!

Summary: It was a lovely little place. Perfect ambience and great feeling when you just want to get out of the big city. Is in a nice little town that makes you feel connected to the forest once more.

Summary: The cabin was bigger than I expected. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. It had everything we needed. We also enjoyed Whitewater State Park. We would stay here again

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in the loft and the location was perfect. Enjoyed hiking at Whitewater State Park. The weather was great so we enjoyed a fire both nights. The loft had everything we needed. The beds however are older and not as comfortable as I like.

Summary: Very clean, nicely setup with pots and dishes etc for cooking. Property is nicely taken care of. The location is very close to Whitewater state park. Price (at least without fees) is similar to a cabin in the park. Location IS in Elba, mailing address is in a nearby city, which is confusing, but I guess you have tried to deal with this :) Two other ideas that may not occur to or bother most people. I have sleeping issues and having the outside lights on all the time bothers me. The main sleeping area has a bright light right outside that shines in - would be nice if this wasn't on all the time or if the blinds / window coverings could completely block the light (maybe this is a possibility) Other thing : some people really do not like fabric softener and your sheets are treated with it. Not a huge issue for me, but I prefer detergent without smells.
