Centrally located custom family home on 1 +/- one acre lot with awesome vistas and natural light in all directions. Super convenient Placitas location in quiet culdesac neighborhood about 20 miles north of the Albuquerque International Airport and 40 miles south of Santa Fe. The Wild Horses of Placitas are often visitors of our home.

Summary: My husband & I stayed 3 nights during the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. Our host was very responsive & clearly communicated how to access the property. The house had everything we needed & every room was impeccably cleaned. Our host provided info on a general store & bistro down the road which we took full advantage of. Blades Bistro was amazing & there was a farmer’s market in the parking lot Saturday morning. It rained Day 2 & the HABF events were cancelled. We took a ride up the road towards Sandia & were blown away by the views (including wild horses!) We finished out the day warming up in front of the fireplace. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. New Mexico truly is the Land of Enchantment. Thank you peaceful, mountain house!

Summary: The house is beautiful! Clean and well kept! Lots of open area for a family to gather together. (Traveled with a family of 5) Quiet and secluded area, yet close to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. House had everything we needed, plus comfortable beds!!! The owners were very accommodating and were kind enough to give great recommendations for food and fun. Would highly recommend!
