Beautiful air conditioned cabin in Ocala nestled in an idyllic woodland garden with a fire pit and pond in the heart of Horse country. Perfect for a small group of friends or family with child, bathroom equipped with a compost toilet, a tiled shower, kitchen and two lofts that sleep two comfortably with and an additional day bed below. Summary: The property itself was beautiful and peaceful exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was a bit smaller than the pics displayed but it was cutely set up. It could have used some more windows as it was very dark inside. It was basically a shed! The worst part was a compost toilet in a bathroom with no ventilation! By the second day of being there...the odors were unbearable....we found things to do to limit our time in the cabin....one would think that the owner would have it cleaned out everyday, he must know that this would happen...we felt like we were sleeping in a porto potty! We couldnt complete our stay and chose to just cut our trip short. The odors even permeated in our clothing! Normally, I don't write bad reviews but I was fooled by all the excellent reviews and just wanted to put out an honest review so people know exactly what their getting into.

Summary: This place was perfect for my 1 night stay while I watched friends show at the World Equestrian Center. It was clean & had everything I needed. I grew up on a gravel road so that did not bother me. The compost toilet was clean & had instructions.Also, this may not be a big deal but it made me happy that there were dairy free creamers for the coffee because I am lactose intolerant. If I come back to watch a horse show I will stay again! Also this

Summary: Ovedale fit my needs perfectly! It was a pleasant 3 day stay within a beautifully landscaped property. So peaceful, safe and clean. There was a grocery store about 4 miles away. I wasn’t a fan of the compost toilet but I signed up knowing that. It was so much more fun than staying in a hotel.

Summary: The property was great and exactly as described. Very clean, quaint and relaxing. The grounds were also very pretty and my daughter and I really enjoyed sitting outside listening to nature. Great communication. I would highly recommend.

Summary: The property is beautiful and well maintained. Having a dedicated parking spot out front of the cabin enhanced the idea you had your own space. The cabinn was clean and very well outfitted (all you needed to have a comfortable stay) with a decor that was inviting and fit the area. Our focus was to be at WEC and being only minutes away was perfect! We look forward to booking this property again! Thank you to our fabulous hosts!

Summary: My sister and I were there to watch my granddaughter’s competition over the weekend. We were not a fan of the cassette toilet, nor the sleeping area in the loft reachable by a ladder. Would be perfect for younger people, not 70 year olds unless it was a single as there is a downstairs sleeping area for 1. The location was excellent and the property was very nice.

Summary: I stayed for one night while at an equestrian event in Ocala. Affordable accommodations are increasingly rare since World Equestrian Center opened. This is a really charming place. Yes, it's small, but the owner has taken great care to make it cozy and welcoming. I am booking this week for another stay in March.

Summary: So I needed a quick overnight stay close to where I was boarding my new horse. Ovedale was good; when I drove over I was a little worried about the "dirt roads" and passed a few questionable homesteads (just a little downscale). But when I reached Mr. Kind's place I immediately recognized the quality and attention to detail. It was perfect for what I needed. If you are looking have a quick stay in Ocala near WEC this is a good place. (And I'm a VRBO Premier Host)!
