Summary: A nice escape. Property was a perfect fit for what we needed. Open yard, views, solitude, and plenty of room to gather as a big group or find space to get quiet time. The house is clean and welcoming with plenty of room. The only thing that tops the property and house is the hospitality and friendliness of the owner and manager. Thank you Jan (and thank you for the personal touch of kindly dropping by the lid that we left behind ;) and we look forward to the upgrades that are currently in the works. -Matt

Summary: Jans's home was lovely! It is a hidden gem in Lake County. The location is tucked away enough to allow for much privacy, peace and reflection but it is also close to anything and everything you need (grocery stores, eateries, downtown Lakeport, Clearlake boating, etc.). I would definitely stay here again

Summary: We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The pool is absolutely stunning and so warm. Jan was an incredible host and answered all questions in a timely manner. Plus she left us a bottle of wine, always a great welcome to any home!! We can't wait to return to this peaceful, relaxing property!! Thanks again!!

Summary: We spent Thanksgiving in Lake County with friends. The house was very comfortable, very clean and so quiet. The kitchen came fully equipped which was very handy for the Thanksgiving dinner. The surrounding views are stunning: vineyards, orchards and mountains. We also went for hikes in the vineyards and on Mount Konocti. Jan was a wonderful host: She had a handwritten note to welcome us, and she left croissants and wine from Lake County. Such a nice touch! I highly recommend this house if you want to take a break and recharge.

Summary: Spent Labor Day weekend with a group of friends on the property, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The home was beautiful, remote and surrounded by tremendous views. Jan was extremely helpful and responsive. For a relaxing weekend retreat, we could not have asked for a better experience. Not only would I highly recommend staying here, but given the opportunity, we will definitely stay again!

Summary: Janet's description of the house as a quiet oasis is spot on. The house was just a short drive away from all the Lake County vineyards and when we weren't inside the house we were outside enjoying the scenery from the porch, both day and night. Janet was very helpful and insightful on the things we could do and see locally, although we didn't get the chance to do everything we wanted because of our limited time, we look forward to visiting Lake County in the near future!
