Relax in our 1100 square foot newly remodeled cottage with hot tub and garden fire pit while enjoying peaceful views overlooking the Walhonding River in all seasons. Wooded acreage with trails to enjoy. Don’t forget to stop and enjoy the views overlooking river and nearby area. 20,000 acre Woodbury Wildlife Preserve, Honey River Falls, Amish country, and Roscoe Village are nearby. Full kitchen with stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave.
Wineries galore in the area, we can suggest our favorites, depending on your taste. Also, don’t forget to try out our map of local attractions, some are not widely known, but the light house is only one in central Ohio.
If you just want to stay inside enjoy our chef worthy kitchen or try out the air hockey table.

Summary: Everything was great. We didn't plan on being indoors mch so it served the purpose. The surrounding areas are breth taking. We visited parks, waterfalls, local pool and loads more. Next time it will be for an extended stay.

Summary: Cabin was nice and perfect for our stay but shower was small. Was also hard to find after dark but view of river was awesome

Summary: I remember feeling this wasn't spotless by any means, but that's okay by me. Normally if it's been cleaned recently I'm ok with it. On top of the fridge by the WiFi equipment, and the 1/8" of slime on the bottom of the hot tub was just horrid. It smelled like the pool chemicals were added, just like a pool though they need vacuumed, screened, and scrubbed. Usually I give at least a 4 star just for decent cleanliness and a cabin I can lock the door at night with. This seemed a little below my expectations. The host was inviting, kind , and courteous but housekeeping was lacking. Many things were broken like the handle to the fridge, the cap to the shower, and something I can't remember else. The upstairs was labeled "creepy" but my 11 year old because it had a hidden door and a ba ba black sheep sign. I have never reviewed this low, it was just a rather lackluster.

Summary: If you're looking for a private getaway, this isn't it. The photos make it look like you're by yourself alone on a nice property. You are not. You are up a steep hill in a mother's suit right off of the property managers home. The hot tub was a tiny two person tub and there was no real outside private space. The inside was clean and comfortable for a family, but only recommended if you're looking for a place to sleep - not stay.
