It's not a cottage, it's a split-level ranch; and it's not modern, it was likely built in the 1970's, given the "groovey" wallpaper in the "coffee bar." It's an ok house in an average neighborhood in Collegedale TN.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! Place is so cute and had everything we needed. The location was great. Just outside of Chattanooga toward Cleveland. Definitely would highly recommend and would stay again if ever in the area.

Summary: Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The house was cute and accurate to the pictures shown. There were some cobwebs in the kitchen window that we noticed but otherwise appeard clean and friendly. The host had no initial communication but when I reached out with a question I did get a response and she was very understaing about a booking mistake I'd made so we were not able to clean up as we should've. It would've been nice to know if we could've used the garage and the back yard could use some work but those are minor. Overall I would stay here again without hesitation.

Summary: The house was so clean, and in great shape. The host was quick to answer any questions i had. The house is close to everything! Chattanooga isn't very far at all. It's in a cute little neighborhood. The fire pit had wood ready to be used. Sadly it rained so we didn't get to use it. We will definitely be staying here agin!

Summary: We had a great time! The house was really clean and had perks like a fire pit, washer/dryer, and little things in the kitchen that were nice (electric tea kettle, coffee pot, chip clips, foil, plastic wraps) that helped make it feel like home. There is a nice little set up as a coffee/tea station, but unfortunately, the Kurig did not work. We made it work with the coffee pot though. The listing showed that there were multiple beds in some of the rooms, but there was only one queen sized bed in each room and no pull out sofa. It worked for our group, but the place definitely didn’t sleep as many as was advertised. As far as I know, the beds were comfortable with the only complaint being one of the beds was squeaky. There was also a “spa” listed but there was no hot tub or jetted tub there. I don’t know if the master bath was supposed to be the “spa” because the lighting was dim and there was a container of bath salts available, but the listing was misleading. While the ambience of the master bathroom was nice if I was trying to relax, it was difficult to see well while getting ready because of the lighting. Unless I missed it, the aerial picture listed on VRBO’s pictures is not representative of the area where the house was located. The house is in a typical subdivision neighborhood and it seemed overall safe. There is an active train track across the street that you can definitely hear during all hours inside the house. It didn’t bother us, but it may be a problem for some.

Summary: We found this hidden gem last minute search on Vrbo. You won’t be disappointed!! Everything you could think of was provided. So clean, well decorated, and so much space. Quiet neighborhood but convenient to shops, restaurants, and parks. The best part was the fire pit. We sat outside, made s’mores and just reconnected as a family! Thanks Susan for everything!
