Positive: Great location and excellent view. The bedroom and bathroom suite was spacious. The unit beach decor was fun.
Negative: We couldn’t find the key for the pool. It turns out it was in the unit but hard to find. It was with the trash key, and not labeled. There seems to a person who lives on site and does maintenance, but he was very rude and said he couldn’t help with anything, because the unit is privately owned. The key is located in a box with a code. It wasn’t easy to use. When I called property management, they were pleasant, but didn’t seem to know who to talk to get these issues resolved. Fortunately, we were able to figure them out on our own. I may have missed it, but I didn’t see anything about more than 100 steps down to the beach. Add all the steps to get up to the unit being on the 3rd floor and carrying all of our stuff up. Fortunately we are fit enough to do that many steps, but it’s challenging even at that. Fortunately the public beach is close, where we were able to drive with all of our stuff and walk out to the beach. The sofa bed could use more padding. There was a very thin mattress pad.
Summary: Convenient location on Nye Beach. Beautiful view.

Positive: The (daytime) view of the ocean was fantastic. The access to the beach is right on the property, and there is a good pizza place, a convenience store, and a grocery store nearby.
Negative: The view of the ocean is unfortunately ruined at night, because of a poorly directed floodlight that is not motion activated. The entire night ambiance is spoiled by the light, because you can't dark adapt your eyes. You can clearly see the shadow of the bluff on the nearest part of the beach, so the light is also disturbing all of the living things that are active on the beach at night. That was a real shame, because I love sitting on a balcony with a view at night, and it's sad to see nature being spoiled for no good reason. I guess this location isn't usually booked via booking.com, so we didn't get some necessary information about how to get the keys, and had to call the company. The location of the sheets and blanket for the pull out bed was unclear, it would have been better if it was made or if they had been put out for us.

Negative: It would have been nice to know that there were so many steps to get up and down to the property. Carrying heavy suitcases, groceries and other supplies became a real chore for my wife and I. We are in our almost 80 years old. We managed and still enjoyed our stay very much.

Positive: View. Cozy feel. View of lighthouse! Convenient location - we visited Aquarium.
Negative: I could not get water in shower in hallway. The heater only blew cool air regardless of thermostat dial position.
Summary: Very pleasant. Would happily stay there again. Will recommend to friends!
