Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Nice place and a great value. Owner was really nice, enjoyed chatting with him. Excellent communication. They haven't been there long and are still trying to get things in order. Good access to the beach, with a bridge over conner creek to get to the beach. Bed was soooo comfortable.
Negative: My biggest complaint was no coffee or tea in the room. There was a hot water kettle and a bodum. But no coffee, tea, creamer or sugar. Kitchen was bare bones. It would be nice to be able to make a cup of coffee when you get up early. That is a standard in any room. Thought that was strange. They did have a "comfort area" that you could purchase espresso and beer on tap. It's not open all the time. There's a note on the door to call and they will come open it. The problem with this is no cell coverage. Which brings up the other problem. Internet was out most of the time. Owner had to come put in his password to get it to work. The tv runs off streaming. So no TV either. Not really the owners fault. Copalis has always been a dead spot for cell and internet. It would not stop me from staying there, as we don't spend much time in our room and are out sightseeing. If you're needing internet this place is not going to work for you.
Summary: Most comfortable bed I've slept in. Everything was very clean. Owner is super nice

Positive: We enjoyed the beautiful ascetic of our room. It was very cute and trendy! The closeness to the beach was wonderful; we had the whole beach to ourselves. And it was neat to get an email from the resort about current activities at the beach. They provided information about clamming beforehand, which we would love to try another time. It was also nice that they have lots of lights on at night, so we could find the property in the dark.
Negative: The heating unit in each room was confusing. We weren't sure how to turn it off in the bedroom, which made it hard to sleep. A little instruction about those would be helpful. Also, it would be great to oil the doors so they don't squeak. And adjust the bathroom fan so it isn't so noisy. We were traveling with a small child, so quietness is very important to us. I'm sure these would be easy adjustments to make for the resort.
Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this trendy little resort. It felt affordable, clean and comfortable!
