Paddock View shepherds hut is set within the grounds of our natural small-holding, a unique and beautiful semi-rural location near Alderholt, Dorset where we grow fresh vegetables.
It is the perfect place to escape into nature, a peaceful retreat where you can sit on the veranda and watch the sun go down enjoying your favourite tipple.
Paddock View is warm and cosy in the winter, and cool and airy in the summer with the luxury of a built-in shower room. Inside there is a double bed with drawers beneath, a chest of drawers, a small dining table with two chairs, a kitchen area with an electric hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink as well as all the utensils, cutlery crockery, glasses, and pans that you will need. The smart TV does not have an ariel or WiFi but can be streamed from your phone.
Your well-behaved dog and/or horse are welcome to enjoy the experience with you.
There is a paddock available for your horse to graze and plenty of riding from the field.
The barns are right on the border with Hampshire and near the New Forest, ideal for boxing out for probably the best open riding spaces in the UK.
Meet Amos the ram, Jet the horse, and Syke the dog, a Husky with stunning blue eyes. You could also see a couple of geese wandering around with sheep and goats nearby. Kitty cat lives in the barns but often stops by to say hello.
Available for short breaks, weekly retreats or longer stays. Please note that bed linen, tea towels, pillows and duvets are provided but please bring your own towels.

Summary: nice and cosy cabin in quiet surroundings. Was hard to find because the signs were not well visible. The cabin itself was very nice, clean with a kitchen, toilet and shower.

Summary: Ideal location for a solitude break for 2, would be ideal for horse lovers to take their horse with them. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. The owner was very friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend & go back again.
