Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was great, the view was amazing, the bed was one of the comfiest we've ever slept in, and lovely linens too. The outdoor bath was a great luxury touch and very welcome after a long hike. We had a couple of issues on arrival (e.g. door code not working, shower drain blocked) and the staff were super-quick to respond and resolve things.
Negative: As others have pointed out, there is very limited soundproofing between the apartments - we could hear whole conversations from the families in neighbouring apartments, doors being opened, chairs being moved, footsteps above us. If you're used to apartment living this probably won't be an issue, but unfortunately we are not and it impacted our sleep and the quality of our stay. We had booked for eight days but left after three - an expensive mistake, but it wasn't the right place for us. Maybe if you already live in an apartment it will be fine. Another small point - the kitchen has the bare minimum of equipment, for example there are non-stick pans but only metal utensils, no serving bowls, nothing but the absolute basics, and of course no oven. The fridge is tiny and the freezer compartment door was attached the wrong way round so you could only open it by removing a shelf in the fridge door. It feels like an apartment for people who eat out every night, it's not much fun to cook in.
Summary: Lots to love about this apartment, but unfortunately not right for us.
