Negative: Had to leave the hotel on Saturday night after waiting 10 mins in a queue at the bar. There was a function on and everyone went to the bar for a drink. There was only 1 girl serving and she was doing her best, we told the receptionist we were having to leave with our friends and she said there should be 2 or 3 on but nothing was done. Only thing we were unhappy about .

Positive: Well, I'd like to have told you about the breakfast, but when I checked in I was told that as I had (accidentally) booked via Booking.com I paid the full price but with no breakfast. So I enjoyed the fruit and Kefir I bought elsewhere, in my room. I did have the option of paying an additional £12 a day for breakfast but felt I had paid enough. From past experience of your breakfasts, I must say the cooked breakfasts are great but I so wish you would include natural mueslis and granolas, and Kefir or at least active bio yogurts, and a better range of fresh fruit and berries. In winter, frozen berries would be great. I expect to be back in two years' time, and will remember to book directly, and hope by then the healthy breakfast options will be better.

Negative: The decor is all a bit dark and dingy, but I appreciate that would be expensive to fix. Also, one night I felt a little cold so I took out the blanket from the wardrobe. However it was so solid and heavy I was better without it. Perhaps it had been washed in too high a temperature... A nice new light one would be great!

Summary: I had a great time. It's a nice relaxed, friendly, comfortable place to stay.
