Positive: We loved everything about Palm Leaf Cottage. We have stayed here before and will keep coming back. It's the most comfortable place 400 feet up in the mountains with the best view of Montego Bay and the ocean. Our host's Byron and his wife is so friendly and helpful. He picks you up and will drop you off at Montego Bay Airport and transport you any time you need. This place has a full kitchen, and he will bring you to the grocery store if you decide to cook a few meals at the cottage. The first floor is beautifully completed with a wonderful view of the ocean and city, and the second floor will be completed in the near future with an even better view along with large balconies. We can't wait for them to finish the second floor. They only work on the second floor when no one is in the first floor so your stay is peaceful and quiet. We are amazed every time but so sad when we have to leave. A lovely place that you will never forget.

Positive: This property has amazing views of the city and harbour. It was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The facilities were excellent and made the stay very comfortable.
Negative: It would be even better if there was a sofa bed to accommodate smaller children, but overall we had a great stay. I’d definitely book again with my family of five.

Positive: The property manager is very accommodating by giving you priority service with his own Toyota van Taxi service at any time and on top of that he will pick you up and drop you off at the airport or any place you desire to go. The manager is easy to contact with the WhatsApp calling service. He will wait for you while you go to the grocery store to stock up on food for the week all of which can be stored in the kitchen. We loved the View, cleanliness, both bedrooms are air conditioned with remote control, kitchen fully equipped with every Appliance, walk in shower sliding glass doors, clean bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi for fast internet service, Samsung washing machine for clothes and hang dry, dining table and living room set, both bedroom windows and ground level balcony with View of Montego Bay at an elevation of of 400 ft level and beautifully lights up the city at night, lots of different types of birds flying around all day. If you decide to rent a car the property is completely secured with electronic remote control gate with side door keyed gate. House has sliding glass windows with screens completely bug free and all windows and doors have security grills. This is a quiet neighborhood in the Hills and Countryside where it is peaceful, quiet and stress-free. Our best stay ever.

Positive: Quiet and peaceful location with a beautiful view. Accommodation was suitable for our short stay and the hosts were lovely, accomodating and respectful of our privacy.
Negative: It is a slight distance to get to the beach and the strip but the host offers a transport service.

Positive: The cottage is comfortably furnished and host Byron is friendly. The view is lovely as is the garden. A fan was supplied on request and as a courtesy, salt, pepper and some sugar were provided.
Negative: The road to the property was no challenge to our Landrover, but is not suitable for a vehicle with low clearance - which ought to be made clear when booking the property. The location is claimed to be "1 km from Reading Beach", but host Byron very definitely recommended against using that beach and referred us instead to beaches along the Hip Strip, so that designation seems deceptive. While an explanation was provided as to why the bathroom door and one bedroom door could not be closed, it is odd that this was not remedied ahead of our visit.
