An Athenian 2-floor house of the 1950s restored recently, next to the woods of the Panathenaic stadium, opposite the national gardens with great 180-degree views of the Acropolis and Mount Lycabetus. Located in one of the best residential neighborhoods of central Athens, yet on a peaceful street that makes you feel like you are on an island. Beautifully designed concerning natural materials, wooden floors, eco lighting, stone, and plants all around is ideal for a relaxed stay!
The house has two double and one single bedroom.
Both double bedrooms have views of the Acropolis and the Parthenon and are next to the woods of Arditos Hill on the side.
There is also a third bedroom with two single beds with views towards Mount Lycabetus.
The house has a fully equipped open kitchen, a living-dining room, and a nice balcony with a coffee table where you can enjoy the view.
On the top floor, there is another double bedroom with a sitting room and a bathroom. a spacious balcony of 75 sqm with a lounge area and an exterior dining table where one can enjoy the full scale of the view!
A great asset of the house is the neighborhood with beautiful cafes, bars, and restaurants all around. It is situated within walking distance from major museums like the Goulandris Contemporary Art (2 mins walk), the Cycladic Museum (10 mins walk), the Byzantine Museum (8 mins walk), and the National Gallery (10 mins walk.).
One can enjoy strolls in the national gardens, a brisk three-minute walk from the house, and walk to the Acropolis museum or Plaka through the pedestrian street of Zapeion Magaro (15 mins).

Summary: Stayed for 4 nights with my two sons 23/26. House was clean and spacious and extremely well located in a great neighborhood. Angel was very helpful and just the perfect hostess!! Will definitely return!

Summary: The location of the lodging was right next to the old olympic stadium. The views were great. It was about a 30 minute walk to most of the sites that we wanted to see including acropolis, temple of zeus, plaka, the Agora and monastiraki. The Lycabettus funicular was a 20 minute walk as well but it was uphill hilking there and there were several flights of stairs to climb as you got closer to the funicular. The walk back was much easier. The national archealogical museum was about a 45 minute walk. Taxis were everywhere but seemed like they were hard to flag down. For US travelers I recommend a sim card from Cosmote for your data plans while you are in Greece.

Summary: This location is perfect and the property is everything it says it is. The Owner, Angel, was very helpful from the start and available anytime throughout our stay. You are literally staying next door to the Panathenaic Stadium and your deck views are incredible. You have an uninterrupted view from the Pnyx to the Acropolis to Lycabetus Hill. Everything worth visiting is from 5-25 minutes walk and transportation is readily available in front of the stadium. The neighborhood is also very safe with various options for dining.

Summary: Angel met us at the property to show us around and give us the rundown of the house. It is truley better than the pictures in the listing. The location is fantastic and close to everythin. Amazing views of the Parthanon and Acropolis and it is right next to the Panathenaic Olympic stadium! Angel setup a ride for us back to the airport. I give this stay a 10 out of 10! Amazing!!! Thank you Angel!!!

Summary: The home was situated close to everything, right in by the stadium. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family of five (could have slept many more), but the bathroom situation was interesting in that there was not a bathroom on the main level with he 2 bedrooms, and the bedroom upstairs had a toilet and sink, but the "shower" was in the whole room, so you would get everything wet if you used it. The only decent shower was on the bottom floor with nothing else, right by the front door. That, the fact that the outside dining table was not on the same level as the kitchen, and the number of stairs were the only downfall. The views out the window of the Acropolis were amazing.

Summary: The apartment is set in the best location with easy access to whatever one could wish for. The apartment is very well equipped and very spacious. It has three levels with unobstructed views of the Acropolis. Just keep in mind that there are many steps to climb, both outside the apartment and inside as well. We had a family reunion and it was perfect, allowing privacy and a get together place. We would love to return someday.
